They ’ re tall, almost up to my knee, and fit snug around my leg( though not “ tight ”) so as not to have huge gaps where snow can get in. I have both these boots and the equivalent lace- up model( I couldn ’ t decide, so I bought both), and I slightly prefer these. The sizing is the same and both are comfortable, but these are quicker to take on and off and I can remove them without having to sit down, which is nice since these aren ’ t “ in the house ” shoes. The ankle is a bit higher which puts a slight pressure on your shin( at least when new), but it ’s not uncomfortable and on the plus side means your ankles don ’ t get cold when the wind blows. The tread on both is great and hardly slips on ice when other people are having trouble. Both shoes are warm and overall I would say the lace- ups are better for hiking where you want the most support and don ’ t mind the extra time to put on/off, but these are better for running errands or dog walking, when the convenience of easy on/off is a bigger factor.

Well made and very comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis and I don ’ t need my orthotics in these bc they have great arch support. Kept my feet warm while I was shoveling snow for couple hours at 25 degrees. Little tight around the top if fully zipped tho. But I can live with that

I just received these boots and tried them on. Great fit, out of the box. A little “ pinchy ” at the top where the fluffed collar is, but I expect this to get better during break in. My only dissatisfaction is with the zipper on the right boot. It is not seen in properly at the top, causing the zip and the leather to buckle ineard on itself a bit.

A lot of people reviewed the boots are tight by the ankle so I was skeptical when I purchased them. They were right, they are tight on the ankle so I unzipped them about 1/2 inch and they are very comfortable. The zipper stays put being a half inch unzipped even when I walked 3 miles in them.

I have had these boots for 10 years and they still look brand new! They are warm and comfortable, perfect for a snowy outing like tubing. I ’ ve noticed a lot of these reviews are negative, but it seems they are working in these boots. These are definitely more of a cute fashion boot than a work boot. I have walked miles in the deep snow and had many tubing adventures with these boots. Treat them well and they will treat you good also!

This is my second pair. They are really cute! This pair fits as did my others and these have one snap in the back to hold the liner where my previous pair had snaps on either side which were actually a nuisance, so good deal. My only issue is that this pair doesn ’ t have a neoprene “ tongue ” across the top of the liner. The neoprene piece made sliding your foot in easier. Hope they last because they are warm and comfy. They are NOT wide so if you need that these won ’ t work. On sale it ’s a good value.

These boots are super durable. I ’ ve had mine for at least 7 years and they will probably last me another decade at least. These are better suited for outdoor activities; when I wear these to run errands, my feet tend to overheat because the shoes are so well insulated. The one downside is that these are ridiculously heavy – it ’s like wearing ankle weights for workouts. It gets really tiring wearing these if you ’ re walking long distances, especially up and down hills.

Never have I ever thought I would need a pair of Sorel winter boots living in the Deep South. However, life just happens, and here I am, in middle of Wisconsin experiencing negative Fahrenheit temperature. I did n't know that was possible, but it was, apparently. I got this pair right before winter storm came in Wisconsin, so I got to experience how great these are against cold/snow/wet ground. Pros:- Really, really warm. I went outside to go grab some food/groceries, and my feet were warm. It was funny experience because I could n't feel my thighs but I could feel my feet/toes.- Is very waterproof. I like walking in the snow. Did n't have much chance to see snow in regular basis, so I had lots of fun with it this winter. When I came back inside, only my feet stayed dry.- Basically does its job. It's waterproof winter boots. It is waterproof and for winter weather. Design/size:- I usually wear size 8 for tennis shoes. I have high and wide instep, so even though I did n't plan on wearing thick socks, I got 8. 5. They fit nicely. Not too tight where I need to put bandaids on my heel but not too big where I trip over my feet either. Very comfy as well. Walked miles wearing these and my feet were n't in pain. But I advise going with your normal foot size, though. Unless you have high/wide instep like me or wear THICK socks.- They are... cute. Very cute. Got lots of compliments from my friends and my mom. Keep in mind that my mom is very direct with her opinions. When she says they are cute, they are cute.

I wear a 13 and ordered a 13 despite the recommendation to up size because i could n't find a 14. They fit fine for me. I wear them with the laces as loose as possible and put a knot outside the eyelet instead of tying them, and they feel very comfortable. I get compliments from women every time I wear them. I live in MN and wanted something waterproof, but still stylish. These boots are perfect for going out on the town in winter.

[ The construction of the boot is very well made, unlike the popular style, it is much more lighter and flexible thanks to the nylon texture. As for warmth, it kept my feet quite warm without wearing a pair of thick socks, but I am still waiting for the heavy snow period in Chicago so I can test it out even further. Overall, I recommend to give this boot a try, however, suggest to at least size up about half a size or even one size if you plan to wear a pair of thick socks.
