Recently purchased this for my boyfriend. He LOVES it! We played around with the Nordick ones in store and we both agreed the transitions on it was horrible and too time consuming compared to these. When I first started looking for adjustable dumbbells I decided to go with Bowflex. I called and asked them what they have and they were all out of the Bowflex but they had Ethos. I talked to the rep a bit about them. I went down there and bought the Ethos and I ’ ve never looked back. I love the way they look and the way they work. I can do everything with them no gym needed. In a few weeks my arms went from 13 to 17 inches. Ethos has helped me to lose over 40lbs along side my cardio. Putting the weights back can be a little clunky and not smooth but I ’ m a Man so I can handle it lol. In all seriousness once you get the hang of it they are super easy to put back. I use the two hand technique and they slide right in. These things have changed my life I love them so much.

Comfortable to hold for me( I have small hands) and easy to use to change weights. I got these specifically because they offer 2. 5lb increments across the weight spectrum: especially as you go up in weights, sometimes adding 5lbs per hand can feel like just too much for me, so the 2. 5lb option was fantastic. That said, they are a bit on the pricey side: more so than the other options, and they 're not expandable, unfortunately. I knew that when I bought them, and I do n't think it 'll be an issue for me for a while, but it is something to consider before purchasing.

[ Adjustable weight set is very versatile; each dumbbell replaces 14 standard individual dumbbells while taking up the space of one dumbbell and placing substantially less stress on the floor( compared to a set of 14 individual dumbbells). Rubber insert on the contoured handle makes gripping them much more comfortable that standard all- metal dumbbell grips, especially at heavier weight settings. Changing weight settings just takes seconds, allowing me to quickly change weights in the middle of a workout video without having to pause the video. Although somewhat expensive, I would recommend purchasing the associated metal stand; it fits perfectly with the pair of dumbbell trays and keeps everything at a comfortable height( especially nice when working with heavier weight settings). Would definitely recommend this for a home gym.

Had been looking for affordable adjustable dumbbels for years, and finally came across these ones. Excellent quality, only inconvenient compared to the competitors is the few minutes you spend setting up the weights between each set/exercise. You can buy extensions/heavier plates at the store. I 'd recommend buying gloves to protect your hands from the coarse grip.

It's a decent weight set. The problem I have is that when I called customer service to ask if the bar was one piece, I was told it was. I wanted the one bar strength in order to increase the weight. They were wrong. It is a 3 piece bar that is screwed together. It seems sturdy but I 'm not sure exactly how much weight the bar will hold now.

I have had this for about two months and so far it ’s been great. The plates have a part where they won ’ t roll away on the barbell. I recommend this for any person. I love that the plates are removal and you can use them as their own separate weight. My only complain would be that the bar itself is a bit hard when doing hip thrusts, but to counter that I just use a towel and wrap it around the bar as much as possible, that seems like the best solution in my opinion.

After some difficulties with receiving all of the pieces during the delivery, I love the product. Originally the bar was missing but came a week later and the plate shipment came with different collars( speed ring?) instead of the spring rings. I 'm not sure which I prefer
