I bought this specific color( pilchard) to mimic the greenies and they worked great. I was fishing for Spanish mackerel at Sebastian Inlet and casting next to people using Gotcha lures, silver spoons, and jigs and I was easily outfishing them. I was casting into the breeze and was still getting a decent distance thanks to the casting weights inside the X- Rap. I would recommend the X- Rap for anyone fishing for Spanish mackerel. In my experience, it also catches plenty of bluefish, but I would recommend changing the hooks out to 4X hooks. The hooks that come with the lure tends to bend too easily from the violent head shaking bluefish tend to do.

Great lure for Lake Michigan Smallies. I gave a 5 star review but it is more like 4. 5 stars. My only complaint would be that they are very heat sensitive. They will melt on you if you leave them in your hot trunk or hot bag. BUT.... They do hold up well to multiple catches per bait. I think this is one of the best swimbait deals on the market. It is only 20 for 42, that is if you dont care about color. I bought mine online and got black and blue for the 3. 25 inch size instead of pumkinseed. I purchased the Keitech swimbaits because they work. Some of the biggest bass I 've caught were from using these baits. Only issue I find with them us after a few bass they tend to rip near the tail but again an excellent bass bait. My try them for flounder/fluke this year due to their squid scent.
