To be clear, I fish exclusively freshwater. I will jig( sharp- n- short twitch- like hook sets repeated on a fairly loose drag setting on my reel- to prevent snags) this minnow with a tiny 1/32oz jighead on the 2 ” model- so it fall through the water slowly. When I do this, the lure is worth every penny. I bought this product over six months ago and I am only on my second minnow! This lure and technique is incredibly effective! Get it and start twitching it off the bottom of you body of water. It ALSO works in muddy water. Which blew my mind. I am so happy with this lure! I do think the stock jighead is too heavy, so just swap it for 1/32 or 1/24. Only go 1/16 for letting the current drift the lure.

Like most striking products, I think they are excellent and really catch a lot of fish. I 've yet to use this lure. I 'm hoping and I 'm waiting for it to warm up just a little bit more to be able to go. Catch me some nice small mouth out of a local small river.

I used these for surf fishing in the Outer Banks during the first week of August. Using bottom rigs I quickly got action and pulled in several croaker, spot, sea mullet and a sheephead. Only small stuff biting at the time, but the bloodworm soft bait was definitely attracting the fish.

It's not messy like the live ones and no smell. I recommend it for salt water fishing for spots, blue fish, red drum, porgy, and perch.

The scent is distinctly crab, different from other Gulp scents so it stands out as being authentic. It pairs well as an alternate with Gulp shrimp-- if fish are n't hitting one, the other they will, so have them both on hand. Stays on the hook great, very simple to rig. These new FAT Senko's are awesome for fishing weightless! They fall a little faster than the original and the fish love them. They will not replace the original Senko for me but they have there place for sure. They also seam to hold up a tad better with the thicker girth.
