I love these hats but you should strongly consider making the adult size S/M a flat out Medium and makeing the youth large witch starts at 6 inches and ends at 6 7/8 a small. I 'm infuriated by the laziness of this. I and many others with small heads would like to have more to choose from like the adult selections. This is flat out discrimination against those of us with smaller skulls. We like hat's too. Like I ssid in my previous review, if they would have had the PHG in youth sizes and frankly all the different colors and designs, I would have spent$ 1, 000 on hat's the day I purchased 12 hats because there are only 7 youth colors and I was n't really feeling the electric pink, but I got two of each. These are really great hats, I love them and I wish Columbia would take a look in either making more styles in youth hats or get rid of the S/M size and make it a Medium and the large youth hat a Small. Because every man with a tiny peahead such as my self are very tired of being discriminated against. I like Columbia clothes/gear. It's mostly what I wear and I almost got rid of all my Columbia stuff, all the pants, shirts, fleeces and coats but the youth hats saved the day.

I have more than one of these now- two for work& one for play. Fits fantastic, easy adjustment tab in the back. You can `` boonie '' it and scrunch the brim to get that sun that's angled to the side or shove it in your pack/pocket. Take it out and a hard shake will get the brim back. I run this through rocks, brush, sappy pines. No issues or snags. Breathes well and has some water resistance. One of the best things OR has made.

It looks good, it does everything you need and nothing you do n't need. I love the way this hat looks and fits. I have a pretty small head and it has quick easy adjustments. The adjustments are so good that I ride to the beach and back home on my motorcycle without this thing flying off. When I get to the beach and ready to fish I can loosen it in less than a second. It's sun gear so the most important thing is the protection. it's still spring here in Florida but it's already up to 80s on a regular and the day in the photograph was exactly that. The hat works great for blocking the sun and it also does a pretty good job keeping you cool. The brim is stiff enough to stay out flat for coverage but soft enough to still look good. Used it all last summer and heading into this year i 'm relying on it again. Caught my first pompano of the year and the photograph came out great so I figured i 'd actually write a review.

Ventilation is worlds better, as it should, and it's a great option for hot, steamy days. Fit was good but a little small. I comfortably wear a Medium in the Charter and Charter Breeze hats. A medium with then EasyBreezer is a wee bit tight but wearable. If you 're on the fence, get the large and use the sizer inside the brim to tighten things up. My only two complaints about the EasyBreezer is that it needs a removeable chin strap and it needs to be offered in a lighter color.

Exactly as expected! Can ’ t wait to wear this all summer… running, to the beach, ect. I think I have an average head and measured for a medium, and it fits perfect.

This hat is so lightweight! First hat I ever had that did n't make my head sweat. The brim is not as wide as most buckets. Love this hat.

This hat is versatile and comfortable. I had one for 10+ years that I wore on all kinds of adventures from hiking in the rain forests of Puerto Rico to hunting in the Rockies to river rafting to taking my dogs on walks until someone stole it out of my truck! They got a great hat and now I have a new one. I 'm looking forward to another decade or more with this one!

Everyone should have an Outdoor Research Seattle Rain Hat. It is waterproof, lightweight and packable. The Fatigue/Black that I order is as shown in the picture. I do agree with another reviewer that they should bring back the adjustable headband.

I bought this hat to replace a standard cap i was wearing with my raincoat to keep rain out of my face and it works like a dream! The old cap would start leaking and inevitably stop serving a purpose. But not this one! I have worn it on a couple hikes too! It is very light weight, adjustable, and most importantly it does what i needed it to! I highly recommend OR to everyone in general, but if you ’ re looking for rain or sun hat( or both) OR has you covered( literally 😅)!

I use this for trail running in freezing temperatures, for yard work when it's pouring and also for travelling. It's windproof, lightweight, I like the blue color, so what's not to like? I can not use for temperatures below- 10C or below 15F where I use a warm wool hat, otherwise this is what I call a AWD hat( All Weather Design)
