[ I weight lift 4- 5 times a week, so I use these often. My only complaint is I find it a tad bit difficult to do suitcase squats with them because of them being a bit bulky and if I 'm wearing shorts, they scrape my legs so on those days I have to wear leggings or sweatpants. That said, the fact that they go up to 90lbs it's definitely worth it in my opinion. Now if only there was a compact hip thrust weight product for small apartments( hint, hint) or at the very least a weighted bar that goes up to 110 or more lbs. I 've searched but have n't been able to find one.

Wife and I bought these a little under a year ago for our homegym. Prior to that we had a couple of pairs of standard metal dumbbells. We wanted these to replace them and have more variety and they 've been perfect. I know people with the 552 adjustables and they 're all plastic and have broken pieces after owning for not too long. And they ca n't replace the parts so they 're just sol. These are all metal weighted parts with plastic/ rubber handle assembly and plastic weight adjusting slot piece. The only piece I could see breaking is the plastic slotted piece used for adjustment and that's only if you 're careless as it seems very durable and flexible. And if it were to break it would be breeze to replace. And you can buy expansions to have an even larger weight selection! 100% recommend these to anyone looking for a set of adjustable dumbbells. After almost a year of regular use they 've been incredible and have almost no signs of wear.

Shot some Blaster into the gaps on each end( pic) and no more squeak. Definitely glad I did n't pay more for this type of item. This is a very durable, flexible, and elegant dumbbell set. You can adjust the weight by adding or subtracting weight plates, which means that one pair of dumbbells allows you to do many different exercises. Yes, it takes a minute to screw the collars on and off to change weights-- but you need to rest a minute between sets anyway. During the pandemic, I drove from Charlotte to Greenville/Spartanburg to buy some dumbbells. I saw an Ethos barbell on the floor in the store and decided to buy it as well. Great buy! This barbell got me through the pandemic doing CrossFit WODs on my garage. I drop it from overhead squats with no problem. I deadlift 385 and the bar is still straight. No rust. Still spins perfectly fine. I think at the time it only cost around$ 150. At$ 250, I honestly might just go to Fringe, given the difference in customer ratings. It's been great for me though.

I have never used hex dumbbells before but the Weider hex dumbbells are fantastic. They have high quality construction and grips, they have a nice and stable width for when you bring them together during exercises like dumbbell bench press, they look good even in nicer gyms, they don ’ t roll on the floor because of the hex shape, the rubber holds up, and the dumbbells don ’ t mark up my wood floor so long as I don ’ t drop them aggressively on the floor. I purchased the Bowflex SelectTech 2080 set this previous Thursday. I was originally looking for the fixed set of straight and curl bars, similar to the ones at the commercial gyms. When I came across the Bowflex SelectTech 2080 I knew this was the route to go for space- savings in my home gym! Assembly is slightly more frustrating than something from IKEA, as the picture instructions are truly terrible. If you have common sense, though, it shouldnt take you more than 20 minutes to put together. Would recommend considering the price.

I 'm very happy with my purchase of this weight lifting bench. It is made of very strong powder coated steel and has a very hard cushion( not squishy at all). Because the padding is not `` rounded '', I just throw a regular bed pillow over it for `` comfort ''- I 'd much rather have it they way they made it than have a soft mushy cushion that only lasts a few months. This bench will likely last many `` YEARS '' of regular use. I weigh about 205 Lbs and usually lift dumbells between 50 and 100 Lbs for about anywhere from 500 to 1200 lifts. So, as I get a decent workout- the bench is getting one too( LOL). I only buy things that are VERY well made and Built To Last, I absolutely despise JUNK. If you are looking for a HIGH QUALITY Portable Bench I think you 'll like this one. It does n't `` wobble '' even the least little bit and is EASY to Fold and Unfold and EASY to carry in and out of the Closet for storage. The `` Holding Pins '' are attached to the Bench by nice cables so you do n't lose them and the Holding Pins stay in place nicely too. I could n't be happier, unless they `` rounded '' the edges of the cushion to conform more to the center of the natural curvature of the `` human spinal column '' but again, a simple bed pillow makes it perfectly comfortable and is not a big deal at all given that pretty much everything else is near- perfect. I purchased this bench last week because I wanted something that I could easily move of the way in my TV/exercise room. With the legs folded, it fits perfectly into the small space between my stationary bike and the adjacent wall. I 'm 5' 8 '' and it did take a few attempts before I figured out how to position myself so that my head did n't flop off the back. Now that I 've solved that, I think it's the perfect addition to a home exercise room. My only regret is that I waited this long to buy it!

I have used this bench for a couple of weeks now and absolutely love it. It is the perfect size for keeping it out of the way when not used. I do not have a lot of extra space, so it gets folded after each use and put away. I was a little hesitant about buying this at first because of some reviews of taller people and the benches stability, but I have no issues after using it. I am six feet tall and find the bench to be more than adequate, if I sit down right at the end of the bench. I still have a couple of inches before my head would not be on the bench, so I still have room to move around on it. I also like the fact that the bench is not super wide. This way I am not restricted by the bench when I want the dumbbells to go lower than my chest, for a deeper stretch of the arm muscles. The other issue was whether or not it would be stable. I find this to be more than stable. I have had no issues with this bench being unstable. It is very stable. The only way that I could see that this would be a problem is if I lifted heavier weights than I am able to control, which is not recommended and not safe for you or the bench. I am 100 percent happy with this product and highly recommend this bench to anyone who wants a versatile travel or packable bench.
