Finally found a hiking boot that works for my wide foot and narrow heel! So comfortable... feels like wearing a running shoe. But has the support, durability, GTX and traction I like for hiking on snow, ice, and dirt. And waterproof+ zero drop too! Lace system makes it easy to adjust for different socks. Just feels good to wear, which I have not yet found in a hiking boot. And I have tried a lot!

I wore these hikers during my recent trip to Northern California. My feet stayed dry during heavy downpours of rain on trail hikes and walking on the beach. My only problem was the tongue on my left shoe rubbed against my ankle. I wore thicker socks and that helped the situation.

I want to love them. They are extremely light and the ankles feel supportive without digging. Unfortunately they are a half size too small for me. I was also disappointed to see they arrived dirty and scuffed, with muddy soles and dog hair inside and out.

I 've never owned hiking boots until now, but I 'm so glad I bought these. They 're supportive, comfortable, and it does n't hurt that the color is fun, too. I 've been impressed with how waterproof they are and how easily I was able to break them in.

[ I am so glad I decided to try the Oboz product. After purchasing the Bridger Mid Bdry boot I bought 2 other Oboz products. Great construction with great materials gives great support and my feet actually stay dry! I will be staying with Oboz products for all future hiking and snow boots/shoes.

[ Bought a pair of Oboz Sawtooth hiking boots a few years ago and it was the first pair of hiking boots that needed no `` break in '' period so when purchasing the Oboz Bridger hoped to encounter the same thing. These did not disappoint. I have a wide foot and need boots with a good toe box and I find these very comfortable for me and I get a 1/2 size bigger than my normal shoe size. Just got back from a three day hiking trip and the soles on these boots worked great on the very rocky terrain we hiked on.

[ This Keen Targhee Apex is a comfortable shoe! One of the first things I noticed is how quiet the outsole and midsole were when walking around the store on carpet and cement. They 've since been on a dusty hike and a rainy road- to- trail hike. Nice cushioning, stability, and no dust nor water got inside the shoes. Since these shoes are nearly white you can see that some dirt has stayed in the crease on the forefooot even after being hosed off.( Again, no water got inside.) Fit wise, these have a neutral insole, roomier toebox, and wider heel. To keep my foot from sliding forward and to have a better fit for my heel I will add Superfeet insoles. This shoe runs true to size so I went up 1/2 a size to allow for swelling on longer and hot hikes. Nice shoe. I look forward to seeing how it feels after putting more miles on it.

This was my first pair of hikers. I love Keen shoes, so decided to try the Targhee Apex in the Abby stone/birch color. They were on sale for 25 percent off, which was a good price. They are light weight and cute, not clunky looking. The color is cute and not something everyone is wearing. However, I have a lazy baby toe, so need a little more room in the toe box. Unfortunately, I will have to send them back because of this.
