[ I loved these so much the first time I bought them, that I bought the same ones again. My husband and I hike just about every weekend in California mountains, and my previous pair has lasted for well over five years. The only reason why I am replacing them is because my feet for some reason are now larger so I bought in a bigger size.

[ I purchased these boots over 3 years ago and have over 300 miles on them. They are now starting to let me know it ’s time for a New pair. These have been my most sturdy, most comfortable and reliable hiking boots I have ever had. I have 4 diff hiking boot brands from ASICS, Salmon and KEENs and I choose my Columbias every time when I am doing a more challenging hike esp when I need ankle stability and support. You will not go wrong with these boots, from a beginner to more of an experienced hiker. Plus when they said they ’ re waterproof they are! Without being too hot even when wearing hiking socks! I would know living in the Pacific Northwest( PCW). You will not be disappointed with this purchase!

[ I work outdoors, so my gear needs to be tough and hold up for( hopefully) a few seasons. Mind you, I never write reviews but I bought these boots a few years ago, and to this day, I am so impressed by them. This pair of boots has hiked portions of Mount Whitney, the PCT, multiple field seasons and so much more. They are waterproof( I work IN ICY COLD rivers, so this is huge for me), my feet stay warm and I never had to break them in. I will be re- ordering!!

[ Really sturdy, well made shoe, but does n't weight me down!

Everyone agreed that my hiking boots were the best! ... And I ’ m someone who has a ton of foot/ankle problems to the point where I get prescription orthotic insoles but I used the insoles these boots came with which were absolutely pain free for my ankles and

I 've taken these boots on multiple 10+ mile hikes now and can say I absolutely love them. They 're very comfortable in steep terrain or for long scrambles. I 've worn them in snow, rain, and hail and can say they 're definitely waterproof! Everyone is different when it comes to boots but Ive had Merrell hiking shoes and sandals and I know Merrells fit my feet well. These boots were no exception.

Very comfortable yet it supportive; purchased after a serious ankle sprain for walking trails.

I work outdoors and walk tens of thousands of steps every day in every possible type of weather. I 've tried boots from several other brands/stores, and finally, after hearing me repeatedly complain about said failed footwear, my brother recommended Merrell. I 've only been wearing them for a few weeks, and while my feet have been delightfully dry( yes, they 're 100% waterproof even in standing water), I 'm wary about whether or not they will last as another brand or two also managed to keep themselves together for a few short months before disintegrating miserably and proving themselves not worth my money. So, while I 'm cautiously optimistic that my Merrells will outlast their competitors, I can confidently say that these are unequivocally the most lightweight, comfy and waterproof boot I have tried. Did n't even give me blisters as they broke in! All around, I 'm in love with the boots and am just desperately hoping their longevity is as impressive as their first impression.
