When the Targhee III came out I tried them, but Keen had changed the last and they did n't agree with my feet. I was so thankful that Keen kept the II version. Although, color choices were no longer updated each year. When I saw the Leave no Trace collaboration color I had to have them. These are the most comfortable Targhee IIs I 've had. I sincerely hope that Vasque does n't discontinue the Breeze LT GTX. I 've had a pair of clunkier Vasque's and a pair of Merrell's and these outperform both hands down. I 've worn these in the winter with a thicker pair of socks and in the summer with a thinner pair of socks over the last year of having them and they hold up great in both( although not designed as a winter/snow boot). Hiking summers in Boise desert heat is hard, and these have not once given me a blister, been uncomfortable, or made me question my footing. Everything about them is phenomenal! I recommend them to all of my friends and will continue to buy more pairs. Now I just want more color options please!:)

[ I 've only done about 20 miles in these boots so far, but am VERY happy with them! I read reviews all over the place and decided to follow the advice of ordering a half size up, I will always have to wear a thick sock with them but feel it was still the right way to go. After reading the reviews I was a little concerned about the `` strange arch support '' mentioned by many. I was worried it was going to be similar to Chacos, which I cant wear because of the large arch support, however it's not like that at all and gives more support under your heal( not sure how to best explain this(:) and I find it very comfortable. These seemed pretty stiff at first but after one 5 mile hike they loosened up and feel very similar to a tennis shoe. I do have to mention that the heal box is oddly large, this does n't seem to be an issue for me, but thought I would mention it incase it would be helpful to someone else. All in all I would say if your on the fence about these you should just go for it!

First, I ’ d like to share how amazing Vasque ’s customer service is. I initially purchased a differed boot that wasn ’ t hardy enough for the type of hiking I do- Vasque allowed me to return the boot immediately! So instead of going back to the brand I was with before( Scarpa) I decided to stick with Vasque and purchased this boot with my refund money. I am so glad I did. These boots really hold up with all the things the white mtns throw at you with little break in needed. I did need to loosely lace the boots and insert a toe box stretcher for my own needs but the boot has now confirmed to my foot. I fully submerged both feet by mistake several times. My feet were kept dry and warm. I felt my ankles were supported and my boots got more comfortable as my hike went on. I think I used the first 10 miles of the boot to break it in- and I just completed a 20 mile, 4 4000k peak hike in the whites. Zero blisters or hot points on my feet. Thank you vasque!!!

I have hypermobile joints, arthritis in my feet, bunions, and roll my ankles a lot; I ’ ve been on the hunt for the perfect shoe for years so that I could not be in pain every time I walk and this is it! Fantastic arch support( especially with a memory foam Redwing insole), great ankle support( no more rolling ankles), and the fit and construction are perfect. We pack light on flights so had to wear these 90% of the time on our 5 day trip and they were impressively comfortable throughout. I even got a compliment in the airport on how stylish they are. Went on 4 hikes of 2+ hours over somewhat rocky terrain with no soreness whatsoever; excellent traction both on smooth boulders and loose, sandy soil. Have also performed well back home in Wisconsin on wet, slippery leaves/mud. Have only been in use for a few months so ca n't comment on longevity, but would purchase again without hesitation.

Just got these and I have n't had a chance to break them in yet, but based on first impressions I 'm very happy with this purchase. I got the sage color and I think they look even better in person. These are SO lightweight I was n't even prepared for that. They are very comfortable on the feet and have enough width to accommodate my wide feet. I 'm excited to get to use them. I 'm not an avid hiker, but I 'm looking to walk more outdoors and these seem like they 'll be perfect for that.

I bought these in- store last month and they are my new favorite everyday shoes. Rugged enough for impromptu visits to the dog park while still lightweight and stylish. My wardrobe was missing a good pair of high- tops to wear with leggings and skinny leg pants so these fit the bill perfectly. I had a slight amount of ankle rubbing on one side when I tried them on but they broke in comfortably after a few days. I ’ m seriously considering buying a backup pair. Can ’ t wait for more colors next season!

Perfect hiking shoe
Lately seems like every shoe bothers me…. I put these on and did a 3 hour hike& wow! Can ’ t recommend enough. Perfect size& support, great color I have the light tan ones. Can ’ t wait to wear them again I am a 8. 5 but got a 9 to wear them with thick hiking socks. Perfect fit!

I bought these boots a month ago before a camping trip with my family. We love hiking and these boots blew me out of the water! They were so comfortable without being too stiff. The ankle support was amazing going over rocks and in a cave we visited. The boots with breathable and my feet stayed cool all day.

Purchased a couple of weeks ago and put in one 7 mile hike yesterday. They were 4 out of 5 on comfort for me- I expect them to only feel more comfortable as I break them in more. They feel wee narrow in the midfoot. We ’ ll see how they go. They are lightweight for hiking boots which I hope helps for my long hikes.

[ Searched around a lot. Bought these because my husband has Vasques and loves them. They ’ re comfy so far( just worn around the neighborhood and a couple short 1- 2 mile hikes). Grip seems good. I wore them in some slush/ice and had no issues. I think they ’ re really attractive. Was worried that the white sole would stain easily and look junky, but so far it ’s been fine. Haven ’ t been in mud yet though. I gave the comfort 4 stars because there ’s a spot where the upper was rubbing when I was breaking them in. It ’s gotten better and I imagine it will go away once they ’ re fully broken in. I ’ m also not used to having that much ankle coverage, so it could be that that ’s affecting me.

[ I bought these a few weeks back and they are perfect. They ’ re sturdy, but with enough flex that it doesn ’ t feel like you ’ re wearing a tank on your foot! And, the color is nice, too! Highly recommended for all hiking terrain as the sole is sticky and solid. My favorite boot, by far!!

[ This is my second pair Vasque breeze hikers. I love them and they took almost no time to break in. So comfortable! The only reason I didn ’ t give a five is because I had to get a replacement pair after one of the hooks snapped apart while hiking 1 month after I bought them. Hopefully this was just a fluke as my first pair were awesome and very durable.

I recently finished the Manaslu Circuit in Nepal and my Salomon boots were my best friend and most trusted companion. I have foot arthritis and plantar fasciitis, but during the trek I had no issues. My Salomon boots felt very comfortable the entire time trekking the Himalayas, and now that I 'm back they are the only shoes I wear. They look and feel great. I LOVE them! I trust Salomon so much I just order another pair of trail shoes so I have another shoe option. Thank you, Salomon!
