I bought a pair for my wife and 14 year old daughter. Both were a size small. My wife is a 7. 5 and I bought her the 8. My daughter is an 8 and I bought her the 8. Both were too snug. 9 was the right fit. Recommend buying a size bigger than you normally wear.

My last boots had the sole meeting the upper right at the bottom edge& that is where it blew out. Hoping that these last a long time like my last pair with the higher rubber section. True that they run small, I wear size 8. 5, bought boots in a size 10, fit perfectly.

Over the course of 11 days& 3000 miles, we visited Arches, Canyon Lands, Dead Horse Point, Zion, Sequoia, King's Canyon, Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. Well, I ended up wearing them on a shopping day trip and wore them for about 5 hours straight, with some of that time being outside on a 40- ish degree day. They were WONDERFUL!
