When I saw they made a hood- less version this season, I was really interested. After taking it out on trek, can confirm it's great as always but I will say I 'm a bit dismayed at the removal of the chest pocket as that was another favorite feature of mine on the original model. Glad to be rid of the hood but sad the chest pocket has gone along with it.

I love the Buck Fleece. I got it in the Fall in the Laurel Green color and wore it all throughout the winter. One of my favorite features about it is the collar. It never loses its structure. It's warm enough on# 2 setting and so far the batteries have lasted for the 4 hours I was outside with still some life in them. On# 3 you will get heat for just over 2 hours. I have the 12v system for all day riding on my Goldwing. I use this for days when I am off and on the bike a lot because I do n't have to worry about extra wires. Also great for motorcycles that do n't have a large enough electrical system plus other non- riding adventures. Typically using the lower power modes I all day warmth. I was fortunate enough to be able to grab this when it was half price and I 'm so glad I did! The color is exactly as shown. The inside has a beautifully soft fleece layer. I also like that it has a loop near the tag inside for easier hanging. I often wear a size large in most women's clothing, but this was described as being a little bit of a loser fit and I would definitely agree with that. And I feel like it fits well while even having a little roof to spare, which is great for when I want to wear layers. I also like that it's a little bit longer in the back, so if you 're wearing leggings and would like to cover up a little bit more, this offers a little more coverage. Coverage. There are two good size pockets in the direct front on either side of the jacket and it has a zipper closure. I would definitely recommend this to others and would recommend going a size down from your normal size.

Solid layer that keeps the wind off of you, the waffle grid fleece on the back allows for breathability when exerting yourself physically. Thumb loops are a small detail but very valuable. Very happy with this jacket. The material blocks the wind and repel rain. Fleece lining keeps you warm. As others have mentioned, I wish it had a drawstring cord at the hem to block the wind from blowing up inside. As far as sizing, if you like a slimmer fit consider sizing down. I am 5'7 '' and weigh 185lbs so I went with the large. I like a looser fit overall and also be able to have room for layering underneath. I would buy another one in a different colorway. Highly recommend.
