Love this coat. Just wore it for a weekend in Seattle where it was windy and rainy and while It was more than I needed, I ’ m glad I had the protection. There are so many great features like the fleece lined pockets, the hood adjuster, the outer hook for hanging, the cinch toggle inside. I really appreciate the thought that went into the design. Only downside is the zipper is hard to latch

Bought this parka and did a ton of research on other brands as well. I wanted the most bang for my buck and I feel that this parka had the best quality and features for the cost! I love how it isn ’ t super tight on your body and overstimulating with other layers. It fits really well with thick base layers or thin layers underneath and greta for both cold and mild temps. Very durable thus far!

[ This jacket is amazing. It fits loosely enough for outdoor activities and looks fashionable for my active lifestyle. Kept me super warm at the football game on Christmas Eve. Lots of big pockets to keep hands free. May have to buy another one in a different color! Maybe even get to Iceland as well now that I have the perfect coat!

I love this coat. I bought this recently when temps were regularly in the low 20s to low 30s and with a base layer and mid layer, it was perfect. Love the pockets for storage but also ones at the waist for your hands. Nice to have the drawstring at the waist and hood for cinching. The only slight downside is the Velcro on the head to pull back the hood from drooping over your eyes is placed a little too high; I have the very bottom edge of the Velcro used to keep the fur just at the top of my eyesight, so I have a feeling at some point I may be amending this with my own attachable Velcro. Quality materials and well worth the price. So glad this works in cold temps( that I ’ m used to experiencing!) but also something I can wear in the more typically mild- ish winters I ’ m used to, which are upper 30s to mid 40s.

[ Keeps my always cold girlfriend warm head to toe! She needed to upgrade once she moved to Chicago and this was the perfect jacket to wear. Highly recommend.

[ I love this coat! I tested it out in our recent, cold( single digit) and windy weather and it is really warm. I especially like the high collar and length( a few inches below my knees: I ’ m 5 ’ 5 ”). Roomy, so you can buy your usual size and layer up. Not as stodgy looking as some other longer down coats. Highly recommend!

5 RustyJ
[ I needed a longer winter coat that I can move and walk in. This one is perfect. Comes down to upper calf( I ’ m 5 ’ 9 ”) and unzips from the bottom for hills. The coat is lightweight including the shell so it ’s not for standing still in a blizzard, but ideal for** city** commuting and longer walks. The whole collar and hood are so squishy and cozy, but slippery so they don ’ t make your hair wild and electrified. Great for an active person who doesn ’ t have the luxury of a preheated car to commute in the winter!! Bought my normal size, but size up if you ’ ll be wearing bulky/oversized sweaters etc underneath. I usually add a Patagonia 1/4 zip for extra cold days… fits great.

[ I brought this coat for a dear friend and she loves it. Extremely warm and weathered for the elements. It ’s a great buy and it ’s actual down not synthetic.

5 Alwayscold
[ I tried on so many coats to get me through Chicago winter with a dog and a toddler who loves to play outside. Out of several coats, this was the winter! I love the length and the high collar. I also love the hood, but am not sure how to loosen it once you pull the drawstring.

Travel parkas are typically made from a variety of materials, including synthetic fabrics that provide insulation and water resistance. Common materials include nylon and polyester, which are durable and lightweight. Some parkas may also feature down insulation for added warmth, while others incorporate breathable membranes to enhance comfort during active use.

To choose the right size for a travel parka, it's important to refer to the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer, as sizes can vary between brands. Consider your layering needs; if you plan to wear thicker clothing underneath, opting for a slightly larger size may be beneficial. Additionally, pay attention to the fit type, such as regular or slim, to ensure comfort and mobility.

A travel parka is versatile and can be used for various activities, including outdoor adventures, city exploration, and casual outings in cooler weather. Its insulation and weather-resistant features make it suitable for hiking, camping, or simply navigating through rain and wind. Yes, travel parkas can be suitable for different seasons depending on their insulation and material. Lightweight parkas are ideal for spring and fall, providing protection against light rain and wind. It's important to choose a parka that matches the climate and activities you plan to engage in.

When caring for a travel parka, always check the care label for specific washing instructions, as different materials may require different treatments. Generally, it's advisable to wash parkas in cold water on a gentle cycle and avoid fabric softeners that can affect water resistance. Proper storage is also important; hang the parka in a cool, dry place to maintain its shape and insulation.
