These are amazing! So much better than the previous Chaser 3 '' shorts. The new waistband is so comfortable and they do n't ride up at all. I have worn these for my last 3 runs and it honestly does n't even feel like I 'm wearing anything. It also helps that the pink is SUPER cute!!! Great job, Brooks! Please carry this waistband update into the Chaser 5 '' shorts too!

These shorts are my go to running shorts now. I purchased a few colors because I liked them so much! I feel as though they fit TTS, I am a medium usually and medium fits well. I am 5 ’ 7. 5 ” and about 145#, athletic build. I have larger thighs and these are perfect. The band is nice. It comes up high enough and is not too tight.

These are the best shorts out there right now IMO. I used to wear Nike Tempo for running, everyday wear, and sleeping. But I 've noticed that the brief part has gotten smaller with updates, and the elastic waistband irritates me. I 'm also in between sizes in Nike( XXL is too big, XL is uncomfortably small). These Brooks shorts solve all of those problems! I was impressed by the full- coverage briefs, comfy waistband, and perfect length with vents for mobility. They run true to size for me according to the sizing chart and the XL fits great. Exactly what I was looking for. Back on the website to order more!

[ If you ’ re someone who likes wearing compression shorts under your shorts, these are a must as it is the perfect 2 in 1 combination. The liner on the inside is very comfortable and most importantly not restrictive. Wore these at the gym and felt amazing for leg day. The liner does a great job with compression and the shorts themselves are light and flexible. The liner also features a phone pocket, I typically put my car keys in there as I don ’ t like leaving them on the ground, but I ’ ve also put my plus sized phone a few times and had no issues at all. When wearing them they feel sleek, supportive and most importantly light. I see myself wearing these on both hot and cold days, even for workouts outside of the gym. [ My husband refused to wear shorts for running or working out at the gym. He only wore sweatpants. That is until I presented him with the Brooks 2 in 1 7 inch Men's Journey Short. The shorts were a perfect fit! He really likes the soft inner short and the airy light outer short. They are perfect for running. He does n't get hot and there is no chafing. He also appreciates the design of the inner short. He never worries about showing too much skin. He even felt comfortable enough to do a yoga class with me! I think the favorite part of the shorts are the fit and the color. He loves the beautiful vibrant royal blue color! The only change I would make is to get him more so I do n't have to wash them everyday!

[ I ’ ve had these shorts for a few weeks now and have been on several neighborhood runs in them. So far, I ’ m thoroughly impressed. The fabric is buttery soft and has great 4 way stretch. I don ’ t normally wear shorts that have an inner liner, but after I got used to the feeling around the thighs, the fit felt snug in the right places without rubbing or chafing. My favorite features of these shorts are the versatility and all of the pockets for storage. The longer length on these shorts provides a bit of extra coverage at the gym, but also means they look great as casual shorts that can be worn daily. The zippered phone pocket is large enough to hold a pro max with a standard case, and the way the pocket is built into the inner liner holds the phone in a way that keeps it from bouncing around. There are numerous easy access pockets for anything else I need to carry like keys or ID. Overall, these are solid top tier running shorts that are also really comfortable and good for relaxing.

[ Despite my initial skepticism towards shorts with liners, I was impressed by the fit and feel of the Journey 7 ” 2- in- 1 Short. They provided excellent range of motion, and I never felt restricted during workouts or runs. The design includes several small, convenient pockets, which were a nice touch for carrying essentials. The Neo Blue color is… vibrant, and ended up being a bit too flashy for my personal taste. There are a few other color options available, but it would be great if Brooks added more color options in the future. And of course, the one real downside of shorts with liners is that they are single- use between washes, so if you run or work out more frequently than you do laundry, you ’ re gon na need more shorts. But overall, a solid choice for performance and functionality.

[ The Mens Journey 7 '' 2- in- 1 Shorts are nice! They fit true to size, I got a medium, and they fit great in the waist. The fabric is stretchy, comfortable, lightweight, and breathable. I really love the drawstring on the inside as well. The overall design is great, they have a full pair of boxer briefs on the inside and a good amount of pockets. I realized they are a little shorter than I ’ m used to, but overall, they are great for lounging around as well as being active. I think my favorite part of these are the drawstring being on the inside, only thing I ’ d change would be to get them in a longer inseam. Otherwise they are great!
