This winter plaid button up is fantastic. It looks like a traditional plaid, but it's so much better. The fabric is beyond soft and is very comfortable. The tag says that it is moisture wicking and even though I have n't sweat in it, it does dry quickly when I wash it. The fabric does have some stretch to it so that makes it even more comfortable if you are an active person and always on the move. The shirt also has UV protection, which is a pretty good feature even though it's winter it is good to have UV protection. The tag on the shirt also said the fabric is anti- odor and so far I have not noticed any odors. My only wish is that they made more color options of this shirt. Shirt does not wrinkle and has held up great after multiple washes.

[ I have always worn tshirts, maybe a hoody in the gym but I 've always seen people wearing quarter zip long sleeve tops. Since trying this I know why. It's getting colde and a tshirt is n't enough, but I do n't want to wear a jacket. The Nike Dri- FIT Academy top is perfect for keeping warm but not getting hot. It's stretchy and breathable, and because it's Dri- FIT it dries quickly. The fit is great, not baggy but it's not skin tight either. The fabric is stretchy and moves with you, great for the gym. The design is nice and simple which I like. The only thing I would change is the colour, even though I like it, I 'd probably get black next time.

I ’ m more in between sizes right now( meaning too big for womens sizes but too small for plus size) but I had no issues with the fit of this top. This top fits true to size so if you ’ re looking for a fit where you can put a undershirt underneath, you could size up.( In my case, I ’ m normally an XL, but got a 1X). The material is really soft and doesn ’ t feel heavy. I only wore this top casually but I could tell with the material that you wouldn ’ t be too hot in it if working out. Being able to roll the sleeves up and adjust the zipper could help with the heat as well. The only thing I would probably change about this top, is possibly adding a zipper to the back of it to add in extra items you may be carrying when out and about.

Like the other reviewers I was skeptical about how thin the material was. However, after wearing it snowboarding and Nordic skiing as a mid layer, it is awesome. The only downside I can tell is that the thumb holes are aligned in a way that sort of twists the sleeves. Also the seam line across the chest can be a little annoying to feel. Otherwise, warm and worth the upgrade.
