I ordered my usual size M and I love the way it fits- it's a bit oversized/boxy throughout the body but in a good way. I love that it has a hood and that it's got a DWR finish so I do n't have to worry if I get caught in the rain while walking to work. The color is not as saturated as shown in the pics. It's warm and comfy. Soft fleece, lots of zippers and pockets. Got the gray, the fleece is different from my other Denali's. The fleece is maybe softer than the usual Denali fleece. The fleece does shed, which I guess happens with the softer fleece. It is way more cropped than the older Denali as well. The name should say `` Cropped ''. I 'm considering sizing up to see if it will make any difference, but that means the sleeves will be much wider. I 'm not sure why the under arms are soooo huge maybe to decrease sweating hence the zippers under the arms. They should have two options for the Denali, one with a regular length and one cropped for women. This one is functional, but will rise up. I buy a new Denali every few years, this one is very different. The prices keep going up and the jackets and sweaters keep getting shorter.

I 've barely had this a month and it's already a favorite. If you see other review from me, you 'll get that I 'm obsessed with the TENCEL selections, this is no exception. I have no shortage of Carhartt jackets of varying weights. The cut of this is very flattering, these pants weight is perfect for spring and summer nights, or chilly days. It's still breathable, yet a nice layer to keep the chill off. I got black and thought I would regret it due to how other collect dog fur and random fuzz, but the smoothness of this fabric attracts less lint/hair and when it does get in there, it's far easier to brush off. The stiffness of other Carhartt jackets does not exist with this one, that stiffness serves its purpose, so just know that before buying. This is durable, but not as heavy duty it's perfect for general work and for going out. The flexibility is phenomenal and. I greatly appreciate that the sleeves allow for larger arms or layering without being balloons, I would n't be able to wear a sweater under it, but long sleeves and flannels fit perfectly without bunching. Seriously, they knocked it out of the park with this jacket from looks to fit to function. I 'm very tempted to grab the green as well and will watch for more colors.

[ I used this for the first time on a rainy hike this past weekend and was very happy with the way the water beaded and rolled off. I was not too warm, which has been an issue in the past. The hood is a good size and has a brim, which I really like. I can typically wear a size small but like to get rain jackets in medium so that I can layer under. For this reason, I 'd say the jacket is true to size, though I still sized up. I only wish that it was a little bit longer but, as this was a warranty replacement for another raincoat, and it was on sale, I 'm happy with the jacket.

[ I share this jacket with my granddaughter. I actually purchased it for my daughter, but she needed another size so she could wear it over heavy clothes. It fits both my granddaughter and me quite perfectly. Hmmm... I do wonder if I 'll ever see it again. The color is lovely!

[ Featherweight and packable rain jacket made of the softest fabric and all the features you could want: Velcro cuffs, zippered pockets, armpit vents and a nice tall front zipper to keep you dry. The styling is especially flattering in the back. I plan to wear this for the next few decades. Thanks, Columbia! You ’ ve got me covered once again.

[ Although I decided to keep this jacket, I agree with another reviewer who mentioned the stiff collar area and the uneven pocket linings. Why only line one pocket? And it remains to be seen if I can deal with the collar( which is fabulous if zipped all the way up) when the jacket is only partially zipped.
