I have been running in Glycerins or similar Brooks for 6 years, these are completely different and Amazing. It ’s either the extremely light weight, or the carbon plate, or the rounded toe and heel, who knows, but they are Fast. I ’ ve used this shoe on grass, dirt, pavement, and track, and it performs great on all. I ’ ve used this shoe since July, so I would estimate 100- 200 miles, and there isn ’ t too much wear. The fit of the shoe is great, love the snug feel. Not crazy amount of traction, but the hole in the bottom( where the plate is) can get some mobility out of the rocker. The DNA flash is very soft in the heel, and lessens further forward, giving soft landing and fast release. This shoe can be used of really any distance in speed. Only complaint I ’ ve had is the ankle bump it has, it gave me soreness one time, but never happened again, so it shouldn ’ t be a problem.

Amazing shoe, fast and bouncy but not squishy. Relatively stable considering this is a racing shoe. I prefer them to my Saucony Endorphin Pro 4 because I recover faster after a hard workout in the Hyperion Elite 4. Elite 4 is comparably more stable than the Endorphin Pro 4. Excellent upper and ventilation. DNA Flash 2 foam does not stiffen up in the cold. I appreciate the design of the laces and how it makes it harder for them to get undone. Fit is perfect on my slightly wide feet. These shoes do n't get proper justice from some online reviewers and I do n't agree with that. I am really happy I gave them a try and they are permanently in my rotation now until I wear them down.

The foam is firm which I like about them yet soft as they break in, truly softer than flash v1. The upper is really breathable and had no problem with laces or heel slips. I bought these shoes at a local running store and I am in love with them! I never thought I could love a tennis shoe more. I bought them specifically for my job. I am a graphic designer most of the time but there are a few times a year that I am a photographer for my work and one is for a week at a time. It ’s about 4 hours of constant walking, bending, crouching and stretching which is not the norm for me. I absolutely love these shoes! I ’ m prone to getting blisters but that isn ’ t a problem any more with these shoes. They are super lightweight, comfy, cushioned but still give you that bounce from the carbon plate. I feel like my runs are lighter and faster. I font feel any shock when I hit the ground so it feels like walking/running on clouds. I can not recommend these shoes enough! I plan on using these for race day. I have finally found my new favorite running shoes! I ran in New Balance Beacons for years, but can ’ t get them anymore. I also had foot surgery and need a shoe with a stuff forefoot. I ’ ve tried many of the high cushion shoes such as glycerins, ASICS nimbus and several Hoka shoes and they all fell slow and squishy. After much research, tried the Hyperion Max and I love them. I use them for daily runs are they are stiff and protective, but don ’ t feel sluggish.

Could not be happier to have finally made the switch to Brooks. They just feel like an extension to me, I didn ’ t need to wear them in, no sore spots or rubbing. They give me so much bounce and I have not had any back or joint pain with my road running since I got them. Plus the colour looks amazing and I get so many compliments on them so that ’s just an added bonus!!! Highly recommend!

Had to go half size up for a bit more length for toes but not a big issue, I have narrow feet and width is perfect. Haven ’ t ever felt a more comfortable, bouncy, carbon plated shoe. Usually carbon plated shoes hurt my feet after a few miles- these don ’ t. Just feel good to run in and they keep your feet turning over. Only complaint is little hard to get on. Also have the Mach 6 as a daily trainer and love that too. Also have the cielo road shoes- try these they are amazing with peba foam..

By judging from the outside and reading reviews, I did not expect much.... I was totally wrong!! As tennis shoes are so personal, we have to give a try even though they do n't seem to be alright. I am very happy with this purchase because they are beyond amazing to me. I usually wear size 8 but like all my adidas tennis shoes I chose 7. 5 and they are perfect! I do recommend them!!

I purchased a half size up because base on the reviews most people who bought this recommended to get a bigger size, but since I purchased mine from the men section, the gear is too big for me. Also, the lace is too short. but all in all it is a 9/10 for me. maybe if I get the right size I would give it a 10.

8 miles out of the box to try them out before a 10k and NO tendon pain( like I have in many shoes over 5 miles). I have recently started running more, and these shoes are more luxe than I could have imagined. They are my first super shoe. I also run in the Evo SL, and I sized up in this model due to running in heat and fearing my feet would swell a lot during a race. I think I could have actually gone either my normal size or up 1/2. I 'm not bothered too much by the bright green since I got them heavily discounted( on Adidas). 10/10 would recommend for fussy feet like mine.
