This USA Georgia Boot Logger is built like a dang tank, but rides or feels like a Cadillac once broken in. The comfort core footbed is different for sure, but it is very comfortable. Because they ’ re multiple layers of leather, break in does take some time, but it ’s not terrible. I do own 3 pairs of this boot and rotate them out. I 've been buying these boots to wear for my landscaping business for as long as I can remember.( over 15 years?) They are comfortable after a day of brake in. I apply one coat of weather seal when I buy them. I wear them over 12 hours a day and they last about 6 to 8 months. I like that they are n't steel toes, and that the tread on the sole does n't disturb the soil very much, but has good traction. I like to buy two at a time so I can alternate wearing them. I have bought them for my helpers too.

Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

Playing in the mud
So far so good! They were a little uncomfortable at first but after a week there are comfy. I wish the tongue was attached a like higher up the boot so you can stand in deeper water but other than that they work flawlessly! I ’ m a well driller and good boys are hard to find that hold up to the constant mud and water every day. George boots hold up better than anything I ’ ve slipped my foot in!

I work as a full time diesel technician and occasionally have to do landscaping and construction work and these boots have held up pretty well to everything I do. The oil, diesel, break cleaner, etc have not hurt the leather nor the stitches at all. I will say I am disappointed in the insoles, being that they only lasted me about 4 months. I have had to replace the insoles quite often but mainly because I do weigh about 255 lbs and have a very wide foot. Also the hook eyelet on my left boot broke after about 6 months as well. The water proof feature has been great even for being a lace up boot. I ’ ve been I some fairly deep water( nearly covering up the entire boot) and haven ’ t had any water go into these boots or the leather. All in all these boots have been a strong and sturdy boot for what I need them for. I already own these boots without the safety toe and love them. These are no different aside of the break- in period. The non- steel toe were like house slippers from day one. These have taken a few weeks of wear to soften up and I am still having an issue with my left boot, but the right is great. They are extremely comfortable and easy to stand on most of the day. They run perfect to size and the steel toe is not invasive like other brands I have tried. I work in an environment that has a number of silicone based chemicals on the floor and it is slippery, but not in these boots! I have not even come close since I started wearing them. I have had these boots for about 6months now. They look amazing and has been a very durable, I build houses from foundation to the roof so I say all environments and these have done well. The waterproofing has seem to do good so far but with winter coming I ’ ll really put them to the test. As for fit they do run tight, I even got a 10W and it ’s still pretty snugged on the sides, I ’ m assuming that ’s to get the square to incorporated in them that causes that. I would suggest maybe ordering a half size bigger than normal. Traction is pretty good for the everyday wear and work, if you ’ re going to be on hill sides all day this boot isn ’ t for you. I have no intention of using these boots for riding or cleaning stalls. I will use them for Winter Walk and forays in the forests and beaches shooting( photography) wildlife. I took them out for our first snowfall walk. They are comfortable and warn. It was 20 degrees and I wore only a dress weight alpaca sock. My feet were never cold. There was plenty room for me to wear a heavier weight sock. I did encounter some wet spots along the marsh and my feet were totally dry. I will note that these boots do not have lug soles, so they were slick walking up snow covered steep slopes. This is not a knock on these boots for me. I have Yaktrax Diamond grips and Kahtoola Micro Spikes- both fit over these beefier boot. I love the ease of slipping into with the optional pull tabs( which I didn ’ t need to use.). The last pair of “ rubber boots ” I owned were snug to pull on. The liner is great. I ’ m sure these will be what the doctor ordered for my Winter Adventures. I wear 10. 5 Wide typically. The 11 and Medium width were perfect.

Super comfortable right out of the box, a little squeaky on tile and vinyl floors the first few hours I wore them but that quickly went away. Didn ’ t notice a breaking in phase like I do with other boots and the side zip makes them really easy to take on and off. I became interested in this style of boot due to me having bad/weak ankles. considering that im very active, i needed the support. i first tried the justin and after the second time of wearing them, quickly realized they were too stiff and too heavy and went to my local supply and tried on the georgia. i 've gone through three pair of which were each resouled atleast once and now about to pull the trigger on a fourth. with each pair, once broken in, feel like a pair of house slippers. as mentioned by others, the lether on the last two pair do seem to be a bit harder than previous. overall, i 'll have to give them a two thumbs up.

These are perfect if you have a wide foot but not too wide. Regular boots are usually too narrow for me. Wide boots are usually too wide. I was told that Danner Boots run `` Narrow '' That probably is true cause the wide ones fit me perfect. Not too wide like the other brands.

My only complaint with these boots is that they took forever to break in. After two weeks I thought about returning them because the leather uppers were digging into my ankle so badly that I had bruises. I kept wearing them because of all of the good reviews. At about 3- 4 weeks of wear they just kind of conform to your foot. Now at 8 months they are the most comfortable shoe I own period. After a weekend of wearing tennis shoes my feet actually feel good slipping into these work boots. I can work an 8 hour shift on my feet and keep them on after work until I go to sleep and they are still comfortable. Not to mention that they are holding up great and if I cleaned them they 'd probably look new. I will be replacing these with a pair of the same boots when these finally wear out.

I 've had these boots for over a year, working 10- 12 hours a day 5- 7 days a week. I work in the elements. I have tromped through water, been on ladders for hours of the day with no arch pain, rested heavy objects on them, and put them through a good bit of everything. They still do not leak water, they are still comfortable, they have not torn at any seams and keep my feet happy. I would buy these again without hesitation and would highly recommend them to friends and coworkers. I had to replace the laces today but that is expected. They do not have to be broken in like some other boots.

My husband has a pair that are very old and are pretty much wore out. I could not find them in any stores around. I found them easily on your website, which is very user friendly! My boots just come in and they are a one size 2 BIG. Normally I ’ ll wear a ten. I had to send back and get a nine they come in and they fit perfect. They look good and I will buy another pair if they don ’ t quit making them.
