[ The materials, color, and safety attributes of these boots initially appealed to me. I wear work/safety boots six days a week, 12+ hours a day. The Carhartt Ironwood boots fit exactly right, and are unexpectedly comfortable. The soles absorb shock and are comfortable all day. The insulation is just right too. My feet usually sweat in boots, but stayed very warm did not sweat in these. The only improvement I would make is to use something other than hiking boot laces. I ’ m very satisfied with them and would highly recommend.

Muck really knocked it out of the park with this boot. The fit is great, but the function is top shelf! If you ’ re riding in the winter and need a bit of warmth these are the only way to go. I can put my spurs on them. They slide in and out of a stirrup well. I really hope this becomes one of Muck ’s mainstay boots. It ’s really well built and well designed.

I have no intention of using these boots for riding or cleaning stalls. I will use them for Winter Walk and forays in the forests and beaches shooting( photography) wildlife. I took them out for our first snowfall walk. They are comfortable and warn. It was 20 degrees and I wore only a dress weight alpaca sock. My feet were never cold. There was plenty room for me to wear a heavier weight sock. I did encounter some wet spots along the marsh and my feet were totally dry. I will note that these boots do not have lug soles, so they were slick walking up snow covered steep slopes. This is not a knock on these boots for me. I have Yaktrax Diamond grips and Kahtoola Micro Spikes- both fit over these beefier boot. I love the ease of slipping into with the optional pull tabs( which I didn ’ t need to use.). The last pair of “ rubber boots ” I owned were snug to pull on. The liner is great. I ’ m sure these will be what the doctor ordered for my Winter Adventures. I wear 10. 5 Wide typically. The 11 and Medium width were perfect.

This is my third pair of Carhart's 6 '' Soft Toe Work Boot. I love them. They are tough, long lasting and comfortable. I use them for my everyday foot wear except dress occassions. I even take my daily four mile walk in them. I hike in them and hunt in them. For me, they are the best boot I have every owned in terms of quality. When properly maintained, they are water repellent. This would n't have been my third pair if I was n't completely sold on this Carhart product.

The boots fit me well( run a little big, but not a con) and the inner sole is almost heavenly. I work in a warehouse where i stand on concrete 8 hours a day. I normally add an extra insert for added support, but there really is no need for these boots. While mainly for work, i definitely want to get the most out of these boots, but i must say that these particular boots i have are not cut out for hiking. Not a con in the least bit, though a bit of a bummer in the long run. So after spending about 40 hours over a few days in these boots, i am very happy with my georgia boots.

I do have to purchase a new pair yearly do to the climate in Tucson AZ, in the summer gets really hot where the soles wear out really fast. I expected a break- in period but these blacksmiths were comfortable out of the box. Soft but supportive and the fit was perfect for me. No chafing, roomy but not loose. The traction was good even in wet weather. And they are fine to wear even during hot and humid days where I live. Chose the copper rough and tough because I think the look is so classic and understated. Love the versatility as well. Can use them with just about every pair of pants and( even shorts) in my closet. I have tried thorogoods, wolverines, and red wings all at 2- 3x the price of the boots, and these have consistently lasted longer for a much better price, the soles wear at a much slower rate and the leather does n't fall apart like others I have used. I had a pair of Carhartt boots prior to these and the carhartts only lasted 6 months. I 've had these Timberland Pro's for almost 3 years now. They break in fast, comfortable to walk in all day. They 're really warm in the winter, not too hot in the summer. Very good water proofing. Slip resistant is very good for oils, hydraulic fluid, fuel, aircraft de- ice fluid. There are only 2 complaints I have; the oem laces are complete trash and so are the oem insoles. The soles lasted me only 8 months and laces tore in like 6 months. Buy better insoles and Kevlar laces. I 've dropped parts& tools on my foot and did n't feel a thing. These are also really good boots for welding and using cutting torches. 10/10 must have boot for mechanics. UPDATE 7/20/24: the boots are STILL GOOD AFTER 4 YEARS of daily abuse in all climates and conditions. These are the only work boots I will buy the rest of my life. I walk for miles in these boots for my job across all diff terrain types around the southeastern U. S. my first pair lasted me over 2 years before the inner heal wore out. They are so comfortable for me I wear them on every job, even sites where steel toes are n't required. I bought these boots over a year ago. So far they have been pretty good. I work as a full time diesel technician and occasionally have to do landscaping and construction work and these boots have held up pretty well to everything I do. The oil, diesel, break cleaner, etc have not hurt the leather nor the stitches at all. I will say I am disappointed in the insoles, being that they only lasted me about 4 months. I have had to replace the insoles quite often but mainly because I do weigh about 255 lbs and have a very wide foot. Also the hook eyelet on my left boot broke after about 6 months as well. The water proof feature has been great even for being a lace up boot. I ’ ve been I some fairly deep water( nearly covering up the entire boot) and haven ’ t had any water go into these boots or the leather. All in all these boots have been a strong and sturdy boot for what I need them for. I ’ d recommend them highly since I haven ’ t had much issues with them besides the two mentioned and have found them super comfortable

Second pair of these boots. Wish they came in half sizes. We put an insert in them and they fit better though. Freest boot that fits snug to the calf without cutting off circulation. Important if you are weed whacking and don ’ t want a bunch of grass down your boot! Super comfy and keeps feet cooler than the cheap black boots. The size 10 felt snug out if the box with work socks but they broke in without problem( Redwing 9. 5) Good traction and stance on snow, ice and mud. I got these 2 years ago and yesterday I was at the beach with my wife. I wore these boots to the Santa Monica beach in CA. Before you ask, I hate sandals and shorts, I will not wear them. As I walked with my wife by the shore, I avoided the waves because I did not want my boots to get wet. Well, my wife was enjoying the ocean water when she thought it would be funny to hold me in place as the wave hit my boots. They got wet and submerged to about the 6 '' mark. My feet were dry. I was confused and surprised, they did not let any ocean water in at all. So I figured, why not and I pushed it further, with about 3 second intervals of waves, they survived. Until the water went above the 8 inch height and then my socks got wet, which is understandable. So I wanted to write a review because it deserved a review because it did a great job preventing water from getting in. It was kind of fun to be honest but the salt is not great afterwards.

I work in a steel warehouse for a ten hours a day and comfort is a must for me. I have been wearing these boots for the past five months and since day these boots have been the most comfortable boots ever. The first day I wore here boots for my full shift without problems and these boots felt like they had been worked in for months before. Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

I almost exclusively wear 8 ”- 10 ” work boots; it drives my wife nuts. I own many different brands and try to keep with US made products. This USA Georgia Boot Logger is built like a dang tank, but rides or feels like a Cadillac once broken in. The comfort core footbed is different for sure, but it is very comfortable. Because they ’ re multiple layers of leather, break in does take some time, but it ’s not terrible. I do own 3 pairs of this boot and rotate them out. Boot is very stable and have great traction and grip. I do wear other brands too, but this boot seems to be one of my go to, for sure. Georgia Boot knocked it out of the park with this one. I own 3 pairs, myself, and rotate them out. Great boot!

Built like a tank. QC for eyelets seems to be an issue though. Would normally wait a month before giving a review, but mild disappointment expedited this one. Eyelet broken straight out of the box. Not a deal breaker for me since it should not alter function, just easily avoidable so annoying. Great boot but I upgrade the insole. This is my second pair and im a hands on GC in Utah. I work new construction and remodels and these boots are great. I like them better than Brunt and they last. My last pair was over 2 years although they were hammered. Just picked up another pair and fitted them with some custom insoles. Very happy with this boot and will probably pick up another pair in 2 years. The sole wears somewhat quick but thats what you get when it's a non- slip sole that doesnt track mud everywhere. It's a great boot for the price. Better than my double the price Red Wings!

My foot size is 8. 5 regular. The boot size is the same but it feels `` spacious ''. Not too long or short or even wide but ample- enough to accommodate a thick sock. My advice would be that if your foot is low volume or on the small side of the size like mine, order down, if your foot is high volume, order your size, and if your foot is on the high side, order up. A size 8 might have been perfect for me but might not have been roomy enough for thick socks. It's a trade off. The boot leather is super thick but the boots were comfortable right out of the box. No break in required. So far they 're holding up well. The steel toe has not been a problem in the winter cold or summer heat. It is not a factor except when a chunk of wood slips out of my tired hands. I had to learn the need of a steel toe the hard way. I only wish Timberland attached a pull loop to the heel. They put one on their loafers but not on a 6 '' boot. Unusual. A loop would help with the on/off process. What would also help would be lace hooks in place off the top two lace holes. With lace holes the laces have to be pulled down and out to loosen them to widen the boot for removal. You ca n't just kick these boots off. Neither of the above nit picks is a deal breaker. I love these waffle stompers.

Boots are very comfortable. Little to no break in time. They have a great arch support for when your standing for long hours. I have had them for a couple have held up through rain, mud, dust, dirt, snow. They are water proof. My feet we ’ re slightly damp standing in torrential down pours for my job but after what I was in I doubt any boot is that waterproof…. They are starting to wear out though. I mean I do put them through rough stuff but I don ’ t expect these to last 6 months in the toughest of conditions.

Solid boot. I work in natural gas and am outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. Snow in Idaho and rain over in Oregon and Washington They 've been great for driving, job site and walking around, and the waterproofing is top notch. I 've ridden the Harley a couple times with them in and the met guard is no good for that, protects your foot too much to have good connection with the shifter, but for work, these are great.

here's how much i love these boots. for the last 2 decades they have been on a constant rotation: oldest to still- in- the- box. as the oldest worn- out pair rotate out into the garbage( after years), the next pair moves to oldest slot for really dirty work, and i open the box for the newest pair for general wear. as soon as that box is opened, i order the next box. so, i always have a ratty pair, a semi ratty pair, a new pair, and a boxed pair. they are everyday wear, work& non- work, on& off the motorcycle. highly recommend, obviously.

These are very comfortable, dry and warm. I have had these boots since 2001 and they are still holding up. I worked commercial construction and these have held up to walking and climbing up and down all day. Will wash them down and then apply mink oil paste to the leather. These hold up alot better than boots costing twice as much.
