8 HCP with iron play being a strength of my game. Paired with Nippon Modus3 Tour 120 S. A quick shoutout to Wilson ’s custom shop for doing such a nice job, and with so many options. As for the clubs, feel is fantastic and control is on par with other top current CBs such as ZXi7. Good strikes will be met with a solid and satisfying thud, and the ball feels fast of the face, but not uncontrolled. Easy to launch and easy to spin. Forgiveness is shockingly good. Assuming you ’ re not hitting it off the hosel or ungrooved toe, and are somewhere between the 2nd and 6- 7th grooves, you can expect distance to be within ~5 yards of your ideal strike even on the most egregious of misses( as defined for a reasonably competent player). Turf interaction is comfortable and predictable. Overall, a real nice club and one that I anticipate I ’ ll have in my bag for a while.

Bought Srixon forged irons April 2023, 9 index, formerly a 2, struggling with true blades due to 56 years of age, game improvement irons do n't work for my game. Fitted for 4- pw with Modus 105 XS. Never played XS before. The iron plays much easier than a traditional muscle back, index has dropped 3. 3 in one month to 5. 7 and headed lower quickly. Play one of the hardest courses in Texas typically in windy conditions. Can work ball both ways, distance control is excellent, and do n't feel beat up after the round. Ca n't draw the ball as precisely vs traditional blade, but otherwise everything else is superior. Easily a club longer with a stiffer shaft than my last blades. Hope they work for you.

Ordered these built to my specs with stock Mitsubishi Graphite MMT shafts. This is one of the best looking and best feeling irons I have ever owned. There are a lot of forged irons out there but these are soft! Feedback is excellent so you can tell when you hit center or are off the mark a bit. Launch the ball high with excellent angle of descent and stopping power on the green. Can work the ball on partial and full shots. Distance control and dispersion are excellent and consistency is impressive. Distance is good for the lofts which are more traditional than todays `` players distance '' irons so if you are more interested in distance than control, feel and workability you may be disappointed. And while not as forgiving as a game improvement club these are no way as demanding as many blades and muscle backs on the market. As a 6 HCP I have no trouble gaming these One final note. I ordered these the first day pre- orders were being taken and it took longer than anticipated to be built due to a missing component. Callaway went out of their way to keep me updated on the progress and shipped overnight to me at not cost. Great customer service!

When I went for my fitting, Callaway was not on my list of clubs. Little did I know that the second I swung this club, i would be BLOWN away. Super soft off the face. The carry distance is exactly what I want to see. Spin was great but not overboard. While being fair to other manufacturers, I tried 4 other clubs without looking at them and could pick the xforged cb EVERY time simply off of feel. Needless to say, I went with Callaway and could not be happier! They truly outperformed the competition! You owe it to yourself to give these a try! A+
5
Digircp
I made the purchase for these a few months back, really focusing on the irons that felt and performed the best, after hitting about every players iron on the market. These irons are as pure and soft at impact as any blade on the market and the tungsten weighting is creating a CG that is as consistent as you ’ ll find anywhere. Can not recommend these irons heavily enough. They are simply pure and consistent for the skilled golfer.

Been playing for almost 15 years and have not had a iron that checks all the boxes. This is perfect for someone who wants to transition from hollow body irons. Usually, 100% 1020 carbon steel is just for blades until now. You get great forgiveness from a mid handicap standpoint, but when you flush it, it feels unreal. The turf interaction is also fantastic from the sole design on this club. This will be in my bag for years to come.

I was a loyal Taylormade guy for over a decade, most recently playing the latest iteration of the P790 ’s. I ’ ve always liked the feel of Mizuno irons, but the data never looked as good as they felt. After having surgery last year, I bounced around irons trying to find something that could reduce the impact sensation, and was easier to hit( not because I didn ’ t find the face, but because of the pain in my arms). I bought the Titliest T250 ’s at the end of the year, but still couldn ’ t find any feel. Fast forward to early January, I had a chance to hit the Mizuno M15 ’s. As before, the feel was spectacular, and the muted response from both the irons, and the Nippon shafts was exactly what I wanted! The bonus, my numbers, carry, smash, and dispersion were WAY better! Back to pre- surgery. I ordered them, soft stepped the irons 1 for even greater comfort, and BOOM! After a handful of rounds, I can ’ t tell you how happy I am. Only reason I wouldn ’ t recommend them, is because I want them all too myself! Ha! Incredible irons.

Fantastic set of irons. I have played three rounds so far and loving the looks and performance. I switched from the APEX PRO 2024 to these APEX TI Fusion Irons 2025 Chrome version. I was hesitant to change because I really liked the PRO's. So far, I am happy I made the change to the APEX TI Fusions. While they are similar, I find that the Fusions are more forgiving....( meaning they seem to have almost the exact same carry when I have mis- hits out on the toe)...( that's always my miss) They also seem to hold the line better on the mis- hits, meaning instead of a pull hook they tend to just end up as a pull that flies pretty straight and just misses the target to the left. The PROS gave better feedback through the feel of the strike than these. I would say the feedback of the quality of the strike is more audible with the TI Fusions. With regards to looks and sound..... I prefer the looks of these irons, and they are very easy to clean with no cavity in the back. The sound is really cool when you hit the sweet spot on these. I set these up with my preferred shaft( Nippon 950's) and the launch angle is what I prefer. It might be a bit high for some, but I like the way the ball stops with the higher trajectory. Overall, I really like these irons. I am going to have a hard time trading in and trading up these clubs next year. Oh, one last thought, I know the black finish version of these clubs did not wear very well. I can say this chrome version does wear very well. I only have about 10 rounds on these, but they still look good. Some light surface scratches, but no more than I would typically expect.

Perfect in every way. The offset on the sole of the club makes hitting down on the ball to control spin much easier and more engaging. They are so fun to hit. Fantastic dispersion and control, and there is slightly more forgiveness on off center strikes than I expected. Coming from the T100, I wanted a club that had more spin and more shot shaping ability. The 620 MB is a masterpiece. Only complaint is that I ordered my MBs 1 degree strong, and after measuring the loft, I found that Titleist bent them. 80- 1. 80 degrees strong, each club being slightly off. The 4 iron had 22 degrees of loft, and was supposed to have 23. I decided to bend them back to standard loft, however I wish the lofts were spot on when they came out of the box.

I did a combo set with the p770's and p7cb's. I went 8 iron thru pitching wedge for the p7cbs. They are very easy to hit, and I do n't think these irons are limited to only low handicappers. You can feel mishits, but they are not overly punishing. Very easy to hit draws and cuts. I might even end up swapping my 7 iron to the p7cbs with as easy as they are to hit.

I worked with Scott for two sessions. I would n't say that I brought my best swing to these sessions. But, Scott has a good eye and he understands the data my trial shots provided. Very few new clubs produced have the ability to transform your golf game. These irons are those such clubs. I played the original Epic irons briefly. I found them to feel harsh and provide no added benefit to my game from lesser priced Callaway irons. I switched to the Rogue Pro's. A few moths back I started gaming the Apex19 irons. I thought I loved those until I hit the Epic forged irons today. I pre- ordered them sight unseen based on the early reviews I had read. Having played one round with them these are my observations: the irons feel smooth at impact, not buttery, soft smooth as with some forged irons, but a pleasingly solid feel. It seems much easier to `` flush '' these irons and I attribute this to what feels to be a larger sweet spot. I 'm 63 years old and play to about a 10 handicap. My Apex19 9 iron distance is 130 yards. I was hitting my new Epic forged 9 iron 145 yards and it felt like effortless added power. Yes, the lofts are stronger than standard irons, but I found the gapping to be perfect for me. The 5 iron is easy to hit, so much so that I 'm contemplating purchasing a 4 iron and replacing a hybrid. I hit these slightly higher than the Apex19's at least to my eye and though I have n't tested them on my GC2 yet, I had zero difficulty getting the ball to stop on the greens. There is no doubt these irons are premium priced but how much would it be worth to hit one or two less clubs into every green?

Love the P790 irons. I have KBS Max graphite shafts and they play high and straight. I was play Titleist T300 prior to this and this hits balls straighter.

The P790 Irons and Nippon shaft combo is excellent. Only play about 5 rounds but WOW. What an upgrade from my Rouge ST Max.

I ’ ve played 3 rounds since delivered. They are as good as advertised. Definitely for players who know there swing. Feel, sound, forgiveness, playability. Everything you want is in there. I play smoke irons usually. But when I get cocky. These will come out

I bought these a few weeks ago and think they are a really solid club. The feel( super solid) and sound are much better my Apex 21's. They fly high and I typically am a lower ball hitter. The finish is a little disappointing but I am still hoping with age it will tone down.

Replaced my Apex with the Ari Fusuon except club control best iron'sto date.

I bought these a month ago and I have been very happy with them. The only thing I will say is when I went in there to buy them there was an issue at the cash register and I tried to use my triple points. Somehow there was a problem while ringing up and I ended up getting no points and tried to go in and resolve the issue online and was just giving a please try again later issue with a purchase of this caliber. I would think there would be some better ways to get this issue resolved to at least get my original points back.

Incredible feel and great turf interaction. Honestly I don ’ t see much less forgiveness than 770s on decent but mis- struck shots.

Most CB or MB look a bit larger behind the ball, the King Tours have all the advantages of added technology without sacrificing on looks. ... Great look and feel, a bit

The King Tours are an absolute delight. The look amazing behind the ball and they feel great when striking the ball. Most CB or MB look a bit larger behind the ball, the King Tours have all the advantages of added technology without sacrificing on looks. I love them. They do come just a tad bit on the pricier end, but it ’s comparable to other CB/MB Orion sets.

These look awesome. The finish really stands out against the crowd of silver clubs. Every time I go to the range or course, people comment about them. The forgiveness of the clubs has improved my confidence on approach shots and I 'm hitting greens way more often from greater distances.

I 've been really been surprised how forgiving they are. ... You get a good feel for the mishit which is what I want, but I 'm not loosing very much

I did a mixed set of the p770's and the p- 7cb's. I went with the 4 iron thru 7 iron in the p770s. These irons have a great feel to them, and you can easily work draws and cuts with them. My mishits are usually hitting it too thin. You get a good feel for the mishit which is what I want, but I 'm not loosing very much distance. I 've been really been surprised how forgiving they are. Really happy with this purchase.

Very happy with the irons as they a perfect fit for me. Very long when you hit the spot and Very workable. I will be swinging these irons for awhile.
Forged iron sets are known for their superior feel and control, making them a popular choice among golfers. The manufacturing process allows for tighter tolerances, resulting in more consistent performance and better feedback on each shot. Additionally, forged irons often provide a more traditional look and can enhance shot shaping capabilities.
Forged irons are made from a single piece of metal, which typically results in a softer feel and greater feedback compared to cast irons, which are made from multiple pieces. This difference in construction affects the overall performance, with forged irons often preferred by more experienced players for their ability to provide precision and control. However, cast irons may offer more forgiveness and are often recommended for beginners.
Forged iron sets are generally recommended for intermediate to advanced golfers who have developed a consistent swing. These players benefit from the enhanced feel and control that forged irons provide, allowing for better shot shaping and precision. Beginners may find cast irons more forgiving as they work on their skills.
While forged iron sets can be used in various weather conditions, it's important to consider the material and finish of the clubs. Some forged irons may be more susceptible to rust and wear if used frequently in wet conditions. Golfers should take care to clean and maintain their clubs, especially after playing in adverse weather, to ensure longevity and performance.
When selecting a forged iron set, consider factors such as your skill level, playing style, and personal preferences regarding feel and feedback. It's also important to evaluate the club's design, including the loft and lie angles, as these can affect your performance. Additionally, trying out different sets to see which one feels best in your hands can greatly influence your decision.
