I bought this recently so I could do some physical therapy exercises for my back muscles at home and not just at the PT office. I particularly like the device that you can fit in a door jamb so you can connect the resistance tube to it. Because of this feature, I could use it in any room of the house and did not have to install any eye bolts. These are a little stronger than I need just for PT but by standing closer to the attachment point, I 'm still able to get the benefit I 'm looking for without overly straining my muscles.

very easy to use and swap out spacers with standard plates. Using 10# plate stacks makes some movements awkward but if it changes your `` normal '' motion, it probably is a benefit using your muscle at a different angle. You can load more weight then recommended but I 'm sure the stated 30# of plate is for a built in safety factor. It appears to be very sturdy.

I highly recommend this kettlebell to anyone needing several different weights for a home gym. They are sturdy, and the spacer plates are removable so you can adjust the weight from 15 pounds( just the top handle) to 45 pounds easily with 5 lb weights. Like the first review says, you need to buy the 5 lb weights to add to the existing 20 lb assembled kettlebell. Get standard plates( 1 '' hole), not Olympic plates with the 2 '' hole. This set will save you hundreds of dollars compared to having 7 or 8 separate kettlebells. I bought two for 2- handed exercises, so I will be doubling my savings.

I read many negative comments about this product due to the fact that it comes with spacers rather than plates but one review indicated that the spacers could be filled with sand so I placed my order. I was able to fill the spacers which gives some flexibility in terms of weight. 5 stars are for a Lifeine Gym version I got in 1983. I still use it as I 'm on SSDI due spondylosis. It fits in the door and the cables allow you to lean at 45 degree angle stretching your shoulder joints and isolating your spinal chord, site of bone spurs. My version allows converts the handles into barbell or stand on the handles and pump the barbell fed cables, twisting for more resistance. It also allows those of us who can not sleep to stretch any time of day or night. My Lifeline Gym is the finest addition to anybody's home with aging family members.

5 stars are for a Lifeine Gym version I got in 1983. I still use it as I 'm on SSDI due spondylosis. It fits in the door and the cables allow you to lean at 45 degree angle stretching your shoulder joints and isolating your spinal chord, site of bone spurs. My version allows converts the handles into barbell or stand on the handles and pump the barbell fed cables, twisting for more resistance. These are a great addition to any home gym as I attached to my Ethos Power Rack. You can adjust the length and use them anywhere! You can do inverted rows, dips, pullups, ab exercises etc. The stability needed to keep your posture activates other muscle fibers I might not be able to activate with other exercises; I can feel it when my arms start to shake due to the build up of lactic acid. It's a little pricey, but worth the money- it's a quality product that is well made and designed. I used to use a 1 inch pipe in the rafters of my garage to do pullups and then I saw this product. I bought it and what a difference. There are all kinds of variations of pull ups and chin ups you can do as well as dips, leg lifts and plyo jumps. The fortress is well build and well worth the money.

After stumbling upon this while searching, I gave it a try, and it's been really good! The first use had my abs and obliques sore, but I knew that meant it was doing the trick. I 've continued using it with other exercises with explosive movements, and I 've definitely noticed gains in my golf game. I do n't think I 'll be going pro anytime soon, but I 've knocked a few strokes off my game.

Notice that the seat is only flat, it can ’ t tilt when the back does. This matters if you ’ re going to have a heavy barbell doing incline bench, because you ’ d tend to slide down the bench under the weight. There ’s also a gap between the seat and back when the back isn ’ t upright. If that ’s uncomfortable, you can put a rolled up towel in it. Assemble it right and you ’ ll find it ’s a sturdy, lightweight bench.

I am very happy with this purchase. The rope is very thick and the metal connector seems very sturdy. The plastic balls are large and would be great for any size hand. These actually look sturdier than the ones in my commercial gym. I 've only used them once, so far, but I 'm assuming they 'll last. I saw that one reviewer complained that a ball broke off. But everyone else seems happy so I 'm assuming that he got a defective set. Mine seem to be well made.
