I bought two of these stash. Cook sets one for myself and one for my sister. My sister had experienced a really bad storm in DFW without power so I sent her one of these so she could make lentils and rice. It came in clutch! The second use case I have for it is… I feed my dog, the honest kitchen brand food, which is basically freeze dried human grade, but in powder form. You basically mix it up with hot water and make a nice thick porridge. I keep one in my truck so that I could quickly heat up or barely warm up the water to make a hot meal for my coco pup basically anywhere we are! Plug: i also own the 3 other JetBoils. The Genesis full system, micro mo and mini mo. Took the mini mo to Banff and made the Food- for- sole brand meals. It was amazing to have it take care of 6 people using it taking turns. We had our food and a gallon of water. Spent the entire day at lake lousie and kept everyone nourished. They all have a place in our camp setup.

[ This is an excellent grill for camping. It is small enough to be portable but large enough for cooking a lot of food at once. It heats up fast and the heat is easy to control. There are two separate burners. The inside grate is in two pieces and we got the pan accessory so we can be grilling on one side and heating stuff in a pan on the other side. The drip pan is great. You just put water in it and any grease drips right in the water making it so easy to clean up. The regulator is easy to attach and simple so it would be really hard to strip it accidentally. Overall, the best grill we have had and we 've been camping for a long time.

I have an overland sprinter van so this is nice when I want to cook with fire outside instead of the induction cooktop in the van. Everything store quick and easy in its own carrying case. The little propane bottles last quite a long time when using this. Not a huge fan of the lid for the pan but also don ’ t really use it at all for it to be an issue. Great little stove.

Pro 14 two burner cooktop Went to our inaugural Halloween bike ride and one of the guys pulled out a older version of the Pro 14 two burner cooktop and griddle. I could n't believe how easily it setup, cleaned up and made a ton of food for every that came that day. It worked so well that my wife and I ordered one immediately to use on our own trips, gatherings and just some Sunday morning cookout fun. We also purchased the two burner griddle and griddle carrying bags for both the stove and griddle, so nice to keep everything neat and sorted. I 've only used it a couple of times so far but one thing i really noticed was how nice the burner control is, you can turn it down all the way and not worry about the burner flaming out. My only complaint which is minor is that the flip out red lid covers do n't sit completely flat like my friends did. Perhaps they will wear in with a bit more use.

I 'm pretty happy with this stove. It fits nicely inside my kettle, works well for larger pans( even up to 8 inches), and get's nice and hot. I paired it with stabilizer legs as with the large canisters it can get quite tall. The one downside is having to bring a separate igniter.

Was sturdy as long as it had a relatively even surface to be set on. We balanced it on some rocks( that later we turned into a coal oven) to get it up higher. I have not used the one that I ordered as of yet. I bought this because a buddy of mine has it and have used it a few times and it is great. Much lighter than my old setup and is much faster, meaning less fuel. I do n't mind that it does n't have an igniter, I tend to just throw a mini Bic in the cup and leave it there, not to mention I always have another lighter with me for emergencies.

This is the first of the jetboil systems I have owned and I am very pleased with its functionality. I have been able to use it quite a bit this winter and it boiled water quickly even in negative Fahrenheit conditions and higher elevations( tested around 10000 ft). Changing the amount of heat is smooth with the dial and it is seamless to ignite. My favorite part is the lid that makes it effortless to pour hot water out and the additional holes if you need to control the water you drain out. The system is also very easy to clean and pack. I plan to use it not only for ski/snowshoe days but also on my next camping trip to Norway since it's so small and easy to pack. Jetboil gave me this free product to try.

Our family has several stoves ranging in size for backpacking and kayaking to car camping to portable cooking for large crowds. This single burner is great by itself or in combo with a two burner or another single burner for weekend camping. You save the room on your picnic table and the power of this stove boils water in a jiffy for coffee and cooks up breakfast for six in a jiffy using the single burner griddle( sold separately) on medium low heat. We very rarely use our table top stoves anymore- the quality at 30k BTU output more than makes up for the added bulk if you have room. Get yourself a two burner with griddle and bbq box and save this one for pans and coffee making on an open flame so you do n't have to swap out accessories. You 'll be able to cook for the entire camp! We have a dedicated 5lb tank for this and it will last a week with regular cooking. I do n't give out five stars easily- this unit earns every single one.

This stove works great for fast cooking for a group and our organization is using these stoves to replace Coleman stoves. The stove goes through propane faster than Coleman stoves however so bring plenty of fuel if cooking for a group in the field. Stove is easy to set up, light and sturdy in windy conditions. The pot is a 5 gallon cast iron with feet and it's pre- seasoned which is awesome. It also has an aluminum lid to cover the pot. The frame of the pot you bought together so it's provides extra sturdiness for the cooker. It's heated by using a propane tank. This is awesome for tailgating or for camping because even though it's called the jambalaya pot you can virtually cook tons of stuff in this like chili or soups or do a fish fry. The only thing it says you can not use it for is to fry a whole turkey which is understandable because it's only 5 gallon. I use my Jetboil all the time! I have a wide variety of stoves and use this one the most. It is so fast for boiling water and so easy for making coffee. On roadtrips I use it to make quick coffee every morning and in the winter time I ’ m boiling water for ramen noodles in the ski resort parking lot. It is a little bulky for backpacking but I have brought it along a few times. For backpacking I would bring along a more compact and versatile stove. I end up using it in random situations like long hikes, days out playing in the snow, and car camping trips. After about a year of heavy use it wobbles a bit on the fuel canister and the sparker is inconsistent which can be solved by bringing a lighter. Would highly recommended for anyone who spends time outside and loves coffee.

I ’ ve had my griddle for a year and used about twice a month and my top has absolutely no deterioration or excessive wear. The griddle has never seen any metal cooking utensils or abrasive cleaning products or tools. I use only Pit Boss utensils for the griddle and clean with Dawn soap, water and the Pit Boss scrub pad( recommended by Pit Boss). Another tip would be to not use oil( as you would with a steel grill). I use butter and only enough to flavor. My experience is better than most reviews. You can ’ t treat this griddle like a steel top.

I bought a laser heat gauge to fine tune the exact heat I want, and it works great. The control knobs maintain the exact heat I want. Clean- up is the best part of this griddle. Start to finish less than 10 minutes, including re- oil for next use. The steaks maintain the juice inside, unlike my old grill, where the juice fell through the grills. The top drawer is stainless steel covered and when you open it is divided into organizing compartments. There is an area for a propane tank as well. The metal slit in the side table area is great for holding knives/flat utensils. It was fairly easy to build and has all the tools you need included. Use the whole cart to prep or place a griddle on the top. Versatile and a good investment for those that like to cook outdoors.

But someone told me to cook the pie for a few seconds before putting the ingredients on. This works great for me! I ’ m using charcoal to get an even and high temperature, and just before cooking the pizza, I throw on some hardwood like oak or cherry. This gets it blazing hot, and creates a good top flame. After maybe 4- 5 attempts with not so great results, I now feel that I have a method that works great now!

The wind block collar adds a bit to the weight but is more than worth it. Works great on windy nights. Best stove I 've ever had. Cup locks into place so it's stable and heats up very fast. Heats 1 cup of water for me with 100 g fuel so I get 10- 13 meals from one small cannister.

I love this compact easy to operate stove. I used it on a recent canoe trip and was impressed at the speed I could boil water. I did have a water filter breakdown and had to rely on the stove for boiling water and the unit was effective as well as efficient to use.
