I love this shoe so much, the compression of the full length air unit is amazing, it's incredibly comfortable and gives you just enough pop to keep moving even when your legs are just a bit tired and sore. It's also pretty heavy which is great for training on easy runs since it makes running in a lighter shoe feel even easier and more efficient. This shoe also helps build efficiency on easy runs too, helping you maintain proper form and giving good feedback throughout the foot strike and through each stride. I will say however the shoe is not the most stable partly due to stack height and partly due to the air unit, so anyone who has ankle issues, specifically posterior tibial tendon issues may want to be careful using this shoe, since it's potentially easier to unintentionally over pronate. That being said I 've had no issues with it as someone who typically wears a neutral shoe. This shoe is also durable and has great traction, but it would be a poor choice to run on dirt/ gravel or anywhere where sharp rocks are present since it could damage the exposed portion of the air unit. Overall I ca n't say enough good things about this shoe, when used for the right purpose I really do n't think there's any better option out there, it's very unique and extremely enjoyable to run in.

Wow, these may be my favorite training shoes ever. I have worn standard Pegasus for years and always found they lacked a little cushioning. I have raced in Vaporflys but felt that they lacked stability. The Pegasus Premiums seems like the perfect blend of the two, with great springiness and cushioning but also with good stability. Not light, but not too heavy either. Size seems to be true for me, 12 as always. My only complaint is that the show is expensive for a training shoe, hopefully it holds up better than the Vaporflys at this price.

I saw a lot of negative reviews about these shoes, and they actually rate lower than most Nike Pegasus models — which I find puzzling, because they ’ re some of the best Nikes I ’ ve ever owned. The bounce is incredible. The give is maybe a hair soft if you ’ re 210 lbs or above. I wouldn ’ t worry so much about stability. These are for running in a straight line, not for basketball. The shoes do squeak after a few wears. If you had to pick one, these are better than the Vomero premium for a couple of reasons: they ’ re more sleek, and the cushioning is more supportive and bouncy with energy return. Vomero Premium leaves you falling back on the heels. I ’ d buy another pair.

Genuinely have never worn anything like the Velociti Elite 2. They make you feel like you could run all day because they give you such a good, bouncy return with every stride. [ The Hyperion Max 4 was a very different running experience than what I ’ m used to, and that was probably the biggest surprise. I ’ ve been running in them daily for a little over a week, averaging roughly 5 to10 miles per day, so I ’ ve had enough time to move beyond first impressions and start adapting to them. I typically run in lower- profile shoes with less cushioning, so putting on a shoe with this much foam underfoot took some adjustment during my first few runs. Initially they felt almost too soft and tall, but after spending more time in them I found myself enjoying them more and more. Despite the amount of cushioning, they feel surprisingly lightweight once you start moving. The biggest thing I noticed was the rocker shape and how much it changed the running experience. The rounded sole genuinely felt like it wanted to keep rolling forward and maintain momentum. At times it almost felt like I was trying to catch up to my own pace, not in a bad way, just noticeably different than what I ’ m accustomed to. The shoes definitely feel fast, although I would need more miles and timed runs before saying whether they actually make me faster. For me, these felt best during longer efforts, steady runs, and tempo- type pacing rather than short, high- intensity efforts. I was surprised how much cushioning there was without the shoe feeling heavy or bulky, especially during longer runs. Fit was good overall, although they felt slightly small for me at first. The midfoot lockdown was one of my favorite parts because the shoe felt connected to my foot rather than moving around underneath me. I also never noticed my feet getting overly hot during runs, which was something I was curious about given the amount of material in the upper. Overall, these pushed me outside my normal preferences, but after spending more time in them, I enjoyed them more than expected and look forward to putting more miles on them.

Probably my number one shoe for max cushion, lightweight, and still quick enough for marathon long runs. Not the fastest shoe like a racer, but fine for threshold and slower. I ’ d choose it over Vomero Plus, Nimbus, Superblast 3( which I actually returned), and would consider it even with Megablast depending on more comfort( this) or lighter and speedier( Megablast). I use the Evo SL Woven for my faster runs.

Okay, so I had to stop a couple of times for lace adjustments, but that's just part of the break- in process. My toenails are good, calves and legs feel fresh. Paired them with Light Cushion Feetures socks and it was a game- changer. Ran 3 days straight- 13 miles, 5 miles, and 10 miles- no pain, that's what makes me happy.
