I work both inside and outside in the rugged and on polished floors in interior Alaska doing communications. I bought my first pair of the Two Harbors size 12 from an outfitter up here 6 years ago. I wore them nearly everyday for both work and leisure. They were so comfortable that I did n't like my hiking boots ad much as these I put many a mile on those vibram soles and it took 5 years to wear down the tread. Usually- 40 below and ice will really do a number on boots... but seriously these held up. I wanted so bad to replace them but I wore them down so badly on the inside tongue that I did n't have a part number or name for them. I just knew they were Irish Setter/Red Wing work boots. I wound up buying another pair of Red wing pull ons that were comfortable and I really like them.. but they only lasted one season and soles separated after their first winter. So I went back with Irish Setter and got a set of work boots that I had mailed just before Christmas. Oh man that was a mistake... Anyhow I thought I through my old Two Harbors away. I have been wearing these boots for about 7 years. They used to be named ELY. Back around the time of covid, I was due a new pair of boots. I was able to find them luckily. But for a couple years they were not available. Come to find out they changed the name of them. Still a quality boot. I started using them because of a bad back issue I have. These boots have a great insole in them a great support system. I have been reading the other reviews on here and have a hard time grasping that some people have had a bad experience with this boot. I work heavy industrial and wear my boots 6 days a week ten hours a day, most weeks. Sometimes seven days a week. I have never had any issues with them other than. I wear them out as much as I use them. They are well worth the money spent on them and they are a great support system for anyone with a back issues. This is my opinion only, for someone with back issues, they have been a blessing to me. The price has went up since they changed the name of them, I guess it's a costly name. But all in all I will continue to buy these boots as long as I am working, which is about five more years and then I will buy my retirement pair, as I do not plan to wear them as much so they should last a lifetime.

Thirty years ago I suffered a severe mid foot crush fracture which is now arthritic combined with areas of non- union. I have worn Morrell Moab 3 ’s for many years with orthotics and had the best support possible, but the antora has given me amazing pain free ambulation while walking our rural property and roads, as well as while shopping and walking the dogs. The shoes are lighter weight, still offer excellent support especially mid- foot, with quicker and easier breakover which makes an enormous difference to my gait and comfort. Very durable and true to size. Definitely reccomend!

They are super durable and held up well on a rafting trip through the Yukon, British Columbia, and Alaska. My first Georgia boot 😀. I ’ m 9 1/2 wide and these fit well. The collar was uncomfortable at first. They have traction in mud, snow, slush, but, not so much on ice. I want to start by saying that I have been a loyal follower and buyer of Salomon boots for as long as I can remember. For at least the past ten years, I have worn them every single day. I replace my boots annually—not because they wear out or break down, but simply because I love the feel of new boots. In fact, I still have all of my previous pairs, except my very first ones( which I should have kept as well). Each pair continues to serve me in different ways. When I first purchase a new pair, they become my work boots, while the older ones transition into hiking boots, allowing them time to break in naturally. After about six months, I begin using the newer boots for hiking, always carrying an extra pair in my pack in case I need to swap them out—usually due to an issue like water getting inside. Let me emphasize that under normal conditions, these boots do not get wet inside. However, if fully submerged underwater—which I have done on several occasions—they will absorb moisture. When this happens, I hang the wet boot on the outside of my pack to dry while I continue my journey. I can confidently say that Salomon makes outstanding boots. They have been an essential part of my adventures, and I highly recommend them. Great boots, great company, and great experiences with Salomon!

These boots are the best for work. Comfortable, light weight and tough. I wear them while landscaping everyday, pushing down on a shovel, scooping rock, planting shrubs, getting about 20, 000 steps a day and never tired feet. I highly recommend these. The first pair I bought myself in 2014, side by side with their replacement that just arrived today. Pulled them out of the box and it was like meeting an old friend that hasn ’ t changed a bit. The fit and feel, perfection. Now, I literally hiked the soles off of the old pair. The toes cracked. Laces frayed but original. [ I have hiked 1000's of miles on Asolo boots over the years and had many models. This one runs a tad bigger ue I have always been a 10 in the boot line so I would say it fits more like a 10. 5 but comfortable. Very rigid sole, which I look for in a boot and slightly on the heavier side, which does n't bother me. I did see where someone complained about a stitching clustster were the toungue is sewn together amd that was rather uncomfortable as it sat directly beneath one of the lace locks. I took a pair of flat nose pliers to the material wad.. for lack of a better term.. lol and worked it over a bit w the pliers squeezing and turning wo tearing it! So do n't go to crazy just cruah it down and it solved that problem rather easily. Great boot. Fit is larger. Crush the extra material to soften it.

First, I ’ d like to share how amazing Vasque ’s customer service is. I initially purchased a differed boot that wasn ’ t hardy enough for the type of hiking I do- Vasque allowed me to return the boot immediately! So instead of going back to the brand I was with before( Scarpa) I decided to stick with Vasque and purchased this boot with my refund money. I am so glad I did. These boots really hold up with all the things the white mtns throw at you with little break in needed. I did need to loosely lace the boots and insert a toe box stretcher for my own needs but the boot has now confirmed to my foot. I fully submerged both feet by mistake several times. My feet were kept dry and warm. I felt my ankles were supported and my boots got more comfortable as my hike went on. I think I used the first 10 miles of the boot to break it in- and I just completed a 20 mile, 4 4000k peak hike in the whites. Zero blisters or hot points on my feet. Thank you vasque!!!

I have hypermobile joints, arthritis in my feet, bunions, and roll my ankles a lot; I ’ ve been on the hunt for the perfect shoe for years so that I could not be in pain every time I walk and this is it! This boot the sizing has changed slightly they are smaller in the toe box. I went with a half size larger but I probably could have stayed with my regular size 10 and just broke them in. They are to me a light version on the quest boots that are much heavier and clunck than these. I 've bought a few different salomon hiking boots over the years and you ca n't go wrong if you are a day hiker with these they are agile and do n't slip dry or wet they get the job done and protect your feet in every situation. [ I have not hiked in these shoes yet, however I have worn them around the house. I am especially pleased with the wider size I was able to get. The boot is very flexible. I have noticed that Keen has changed how they make the sole. The bottom tracks are smooth and my old targhees have ridges on the bottom of the tracks. Time will tell if the boot will still grip the same on rocks.

They also seem to run a bit narrow which works out well for me, my feet are tad narrow and these hug my feet well. Besides that they are true to size. I haven ’ t gotten to use them much yet, but I took them out for a couple mile spin and found them pretty comfy, just need to break them in a bit more:)

[ I 've worn these only on suburban roads and treadmill so far because of the extreme weather we 've been having but so far( approximately 20 miles total) they have been outstanding. The fit is amazing. I have room in the toe box and the height is just right on my ankle. I ca n't wait to hike on trails this spring.

[ I have found these boots to be extremely comfortable and very supportive. I normally add my own insoles to all boots but didn ’ t need to with these. They are true to size and very well made. The traction on the sole is spaced well. It does not collect excessive mud/etc. I would highly recommend these boots over other popular brands I have had before them.

I bought these for a trip to Scotland where I expect rain most days. I tried them out at home here and found then to be perfectly waterproof. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I gave them a 4 star because the `` tongue '' at the closure does not easily tuck back under the boot side when tying the strings... and the strings need to be double knotted to stay closed... and that does n't always stay.

I recently bought these shoes for a hiking trip in Maine. I briefly broke them in before the trip and had no issues with them while hiking, they are super comfortable and warm! I walked 40+ miles through various rocky trails and my feet felt supported and never slipped. I highly recommend these, however, they may be a bit hot for summer or warmer climates. I do wish they offered better colors as well. I would buy again!!

Amazingly comfortable. They make my feet feel loved. They grip well enough that I can step on slimy rocks without slipping. Only downside is they 're a bit warm for midsummer in the sun, but I think that's just the tradeoff for them being cozy in the snow as well as surprisingly waterproof- I 've dunked them two inches deep in streams and the water sheeted right off. My only request is to please bring these back in men's wide sizes- my husband has heard me talk about how great these are but ca n't find a pair in his size!

I have weak ankles and narrow feet so the slim footbed and structured sides are perfect for me. These are my second pair of Vasque boots, the first being the snow boots I bought last season and loved. I bought the Moab Speed 2Mid Gore Tex hiking shoes two years ago. These shoes are an improvement from my original shoes. I wear them when I walk the dog or go on hikes. They are comfortable and have great stability for my feet. I will continue to buy these hiking boots as my current ones start to break down from wear.
