I 'd recommend taking your time( with someone's help) in initially fitting it, as it took me a few days( and adjustments) to realize just how impressive this brace really is. There are several adjustments to be made, which turned out to be a very good thing, as you 'll end up with a really high- quality stabilizer that is custom- fitted for you. I had a similar injury last year, and just kept( painfully) tweaking it. I anticipate this brace cutting my recovery time in half( at least), so I 'm thrilled.
