Two issues- one, as another reviewer commented, the bar comes with what I assume is an anti- rust coating that's a little messy to remove. It would be nice if some instructions came for that. Maybe there were and I just did n't see them. And two- the clerk who took the order told me my email address would be used only to communicate regarding the order. I am amazed with the quality of this barbell. I will list some of the reasons why this is my favorite barbell that I have ever used. The bar has very nice rotation on the sleeves. There is a perfect amount of knurling( not to passive and not to aggressive). The chrome finish and black coating also feely extremely well made. The bar holds over 5 plates on each side and is n't bending. I 'm pretty sure it will hold 6 plates on each end depending on collar width. It's a decent weight set. The problem I have is that when I called customer service to ask if the bar was one piece, I was told it was. I wanted the one bar strength in order to increase the weight. But I was hesitant to order the Body Solid bar because the reviews for the 5ft bar indicated it was covered with an oily/sticky coating that was difficult to remove. I was greatly relieved that was not the case. It was wrapped in plastic inside a hard cardboard tube. Quick and easy to unpack. Both the Olympic bar/bumper plates totally fit my requirements. I have had this for about two months and so far it ’s been great. The plates have a part where they won ’ t roll away on the barbell. I recommend this for any person. I love that the plates are removal and you can use them as their own separate weight. My only complain would be that the bar itself is a bit hard when doing hip thrusts, but to counter that I just use a towel and wrap it around the bar as much as possible, that seems like the best solution in my opinion.

The quality of the material used in the bar as well as the balance of the bar itself removed my uneasiness around it's price. It is well worth the$ 200. 00 price tag. The free delivery also eased the pain saving me$ 50. 00 on the purchase.

This is great for seated rows and lets you exercise slightly differently than a v- bar. I occassionally use it for triceps, but find a specific tricep bar more convenient. The one think I will point out, is that the grip will twist and move around depending on the exercise you are doing.

The leg press certainly appears to be high quality but I wanted to share some details lacking from the assembly instructions to hopefully spare others. Assembly took 4- 6 hours spread across 3 evenings. I did most of it by myself but my son helped to mount the sled itself, and you may need a 3rd person to hold the rods above the mounting area unless you get creative. I used the bottom stoppers temporarily. I hit two main snags. First, the rods have different hole sizes on each end so it does matter which way they are inserted into the arms. The larger hole should be on the top to mount the decorative plate. Second, the tall legs have larger openings to mount the plate holders so they are not interchangeable. This does n't become obvious until the very last step, meaning I had to slide the leg press against a wall that could support the entire weight to allow swapping the legs without having to remove the sled. I do read all instructions which made it all the more frustrating to discover these details after the fact. One last note, the attachment for the seat was not wide enough so I had to hammer it a bit to allow the seat arm to fit. But now it is assembled and we can enjoy leg day!

I like this original Hex Bar much better than the bigger version because it takes up way less space with the 10 inch sleeves rather than 16 or more. The knurling is perfect and I love the 25mm grip plus the rigged sleeves so the plates do n't fall off easily when the bar is maxed out on weight. Some critics will complain that you ca n't add more than 500 pounds or so with 10 '' sleeves but unless you 're a strength athlete that weighs 250 or more I do n't see the need.
