I get hot very easily. Harder for me to properly ventilate while outdoors in the colder seasons. This hoodie( while thinner than my fleece) kept me comfortable without getting hot and when going indoors did n't overheat me. I have yet to find a hoodie that compares. I needed a fully waterproof jacket that was lightweight and gave lots of coverage for long dog walks. This is a good one which goes to mid thigh on me( 5' 2 '') with the rounded swoop in the back that looks a bit stylish. The hood is adjustable so it stays put and the collar gives lots of coverage as do the longer sleeves which can cover my hands or adjust with velcro at the wrist and the zippers are waterproof. I bought this jacket for the upcoming winter. It is very warm and lightweight which I love. It is not bulky but keeps you nice and toasty.

I love the length and that it's lightweight. It will be easy to layer as I bought it in size medium and I usually wear a small. I have n't tested it out yet since it's summer but sure that I will love it. If for some reason I do n't I will update my review.

Very nice raincoat or parka. It reminds me of the old Army Gortex parka, with the positive addition of elastic cuffs at the wrists. Have had the chance to try it in the rain and its kelp me warm and dry!

In typical Carhartt fashion it looks and feels strategically overbuilt. I bought it to use on multiday raft trips. I need something that will do its job. This is exactly what I was looking for. I like the loose fit. We can get snow into June here in Montana and I can layer with this jacket and still move. Good job!

[ This is my second nano vest. I bought a bkack one before Christmas and recently bought a white. They are thin and not big and puffy. I wear mine all the time it is so comfortable. Great on a day that is chilly but not too cold. It is expensive.
