I like these a lot: They have a nice wide/not too wide footprint. They have good ankle support. They have great traction. They are very comfortable. The waterproofing worked well( as it should because they are new). My only complaint is that padding on the ankles makes them pretty wide at the ankle and that tends to catch debris and funnel it down into the shoe... so they are not my pick for places where there is a lot of trail debris.... or perhaps I should have used gaiters. But they are perfect for wet, slippery, or dry trail conditions and casual wear. To me, the picture makes them look like they have green trim: They are shades of grey, not green-- I was pleasantly surprised by that, and I think they are a good- looking pair of shoes.

I have very flat feet and struggle to find a good fit. I have just purchased the slip on Targhee for the first time and I am very happy with the design. I have always bought the same size 12 and this is the first pair that have run a little small. I can wear them but they are not that perfect fit. I will definitely be back again and may have to upsize with this particular model.

Recently purchased these as a light hiker for dog walks on trails. I have a couple of foot issues that require a wider toe box and these delivered. I find them to be comfortable, roomy in the toe box but still snug around the heel to prevent slippage. They also fit my custom orthotics perfectly. I have yet to notice any negatives with these shoes.
