This boot the sizing has changed slightly they are smaller in the toe box. I went with a half size larger but I probably could have stayed with my regular size 10 and just broke them in. They are to me a light version on the quest boots that are much heavier and clunck than these. I 've bought a few different salomon hiking boots over the years and you ca n't go wrong if you are a day hiker with these they are agile and do n't slip dry or wet they get the job done and protect your feet in every situation. Able to wear them traveling all day and be comfortable but they do make my feet sweat a lot. The green color is nice but impossible to keep clean. Had the normal one full day break- in period. This is my third pair and I keep coming back for them. They are rugged and durable and last a little over a year when used roughly for hiking, trail running and slogging through the mud. I compete with these a lot because they keep the water out( unless I go in the streams) and they hold up really well. The soles start to get thinner after 1. 5 years but I have n't found any others that hold up any better and still stay together like these Moab 3's.

This is my second pair of Konos TRS shoes and they are just as comfortable as the ones I bought last year. Taupe color is exactly as pictured and fits true to size. I want to start by saying that I have been a loyal follower and buyer of Salomon boots for as long as I can remember. For at least the past ten years, I have worn them every single day. I replace my boots annually—not because they wear out or break down, but simply because I love the feel of new boots. In fact, I still have all of my previous pairs, except my very first ones( which I should have kept as well). Each pair continues to serve me in different ways. When I first purchase a new pair, they become my work boots, while the older ones transition into hiking boots, allowing them time to break in naturally. After about six months, I begin using the newer boots for hiking, always carrying an extra pair in my pack in case I need to swap them out—usually due to an issue like water getting inside. Let me emphasize that under normal conditions, these boots do not get wet inside. However, if fully submerged underwater—which I have done on several occasions—they will absorb moisture. When this happens, I hang the wet boot on the outside of my pack to dry while I continue my journey. I can confidently say that Salomon makes outstanding boots. They have been an essential part of my adventures, and I highly recommend them. Great boots, great company, and great experiences with Salomon!

The Peakfreak was my final choice as I found that the cushioning level matched that of Hoka, without the bulk. I bought this boot about a month ago to replace a previous model I had from Salomon. It was the closest to the Vaya. Feel is great overall, however the size is about 1/2 size too small. Ordered same size my old pair. That is the only complaint. I was a 6. 5 in the Vaya and believe a 7 in these would have been better. They are super light weight, rugged, super water resistant too

I bought these on Friday, hiked a hilly/rocky 3. 4mi on Saturday. My feet felt stabilized, but not restricted. I 'm recouping medial/lateral/posterior tendon issues in one foot and it does n't even hurt after wearing these! Very happy with my purchase.

I bought two pairs of these for a hiking retreat, which was a risky choice. Nonetheless, these boots were comfortable from the start. Interchanging both pairs every other day helped to eliminate blisters. I only left my trip with one painless blister on the heel. I am a 7. 5 and these were true to size.

I am ordering my 3rd pair, I wore out my 2nd and glad that I can get another pair, they are light, they fit perfectly, I use a shoe horn to shoe in( a deer antler from a spike that I shot way back). Great narrow profile easy on trails and if I need to climb or walk on rocks or boulders great positive feeling. If and when they get wet they dry fairly quick. I am hoping they keep making this model, since this has been around for a few years now.

I love these slip on style shoes. I 've owned about 6 pairs over the years. I usually buy 2 at a time. Call me a horder, but hopefully I will have enough stocked up to last till I 'm in the nursing home??

I wore a pair of these on a recent to week trip to France. In the countryside, on the beach and in the city I average 8 miles a day walking. They were the only shoes I brought. Never regretted. Very comfortable.

I 've worn Chameleons for twenty years or so a consider it to be Merrell's best hiking shoe. It would be nice if Merrell had a wide version of the Chameleon since I 've noticed that the medium version has gotten a little snug over the years.

[ I love that these a versatile enough that I can wear them as an every day shoe and I can take them out on a hike as well! Love the color, love the style. The body of the shoe is sleek so it doesn ’ t feel clunky. The traction is perfectly sticky enough that I don ’ t feel nervous about slipping and falling, especially when climbing little boulders when I ’ m on a hike. 10/10!!

[ These hiking shoes are great! I feel they were true to size and very comfortable. I wore them hiking through the local forest preserve with my dogs where there are all types of terrain, and these held up well. They were even easy to clean after getting a bit muddy, too. I especially love the athletic look of the shoe and think they would look cute off the trail as well!

[ Hiked for a little over a mile in these and they were extremely comfortable. They kept my feet warm in the winter while still feeling very breathable. I also felt there was very good traction and did n't have to worry about slipping, even in less than desirable weather conditions.

[ Amazing shoes! While it ’s not entirely ideal hiking weather where I live, I can still attest to the comfort and breathability of these shoes. I wear them as daily shoes and they have excellent traction in all the wet and slick spots that are pretty common this time of year. They ’ re very breathable shoes, so much so that my feet have been getting a little cold when wearing them outside in the frigid temps here in the midwest. That being said, the memory foam in insoles of the shoes make these super comfortable on my feet when I ’ m going for walks and little treks around the neighborhood. I can ’ t wait to wear these out on my next hiking adventure to really test out their comfort and durability. For now though, I love these shoes!

[ These hiking shoes are awesome! Very comfortable straight out of the box. Padded tongue and heel. The fit is comfortable and true to size. The toe box is big enough which is key for comfy hiking shoes. The grip and stability of the shoe is great. All around a solid hiking shoe that is lightweight and breathable.
