This boot the sizing has changed slightly they are smaller in the toe box. I went with a half size larger but I probably could have stayed with my regular size 10 and just broke them in. They are to me a light version on the quest boots that are much heavier and clunck than these. I 've bought a few different salomon hiking boots over the years and you ca n't go wrong if you are a day hiker with these they are agile and do n't slip dry or wet they get the job done and protect your feet in every situation. I want to start by saying that I have been a loyal follower and buyer of Salomon boots for as long as I can remember. For at least the past ten years, I have worn them every single day. I replace my boots annually—not because they wear out or break down, but simply because I love the feel of new boots. In fact, I still have all of my previous pairs, except my very first ones( which I should have kept as well). Each pair continues to serve me in different ways. When I first purchase a new pair, they become my work boots, while the older ones transition into hiking boots, allowing them time to break in naturally. After about six months, I begin using the newer boots for hiking, always carrying an extra pair in my pack in case I need to swap them out—usually due to an issue like water getting inside. Let me emphasize that under normal conditions, these boots do not get wet inside. However, if fully submerged underwater—which I have done on several occasions—they will absorb moisture. When this happens, I hang the wet boot on the outside of my pack to dry while I continue my journey. I can confidently say that Salomon makes outstanding boots. They have been an essential part of my adventures, and I highly recommend them. Great boots, great company, and great experiences with Salomon!

Thirty years ago I suffered a severe mid foot crush fracture which is now arthritic combined with areas of non- union. I have worn Morrell Moab 3 ’s for many years with orthotics and had the best support possible, but the antora has given me amazing pain free ambulation while walking our rural property and roads, as well as while shopping and walking the dogs. The shoes are lighter weight, still offer excellent support especially mid- foot, with quicker and easier breakover which makes an enormous difference to my gait and comfort. I like these a lot: They have a nice wide/not too wide footprint. They have good ankle support. They have great traction. They are very comfortable. The waterproofing worked well( as it should because they are new). My only complaint is that padding on the ankles makes them pretty wide at the ankle and that tends to catch debris and funnel it down into the shoe... so they are not my pick for places where there is a lot of trail debris.... or perhaps I should have used gaiters. But they are perfect for wet, slippery, or dry trail conditions and casual wear. Had the normal one full day break- in period. This is my third pair and I keep coming back for them. They are rugged and durable and last a little over a year when used roughly for hiking, trail running and slogging through the mud. I compete with these a lot because they keep the water out( unless I go in the streams) and they hold up really well. The soles start to get thinner after 1. 5 years but I have n't found any others that hold up any better and still stay together like these Moab 3's.

I took these on my rafting trip down the GRAND CANYON. I brought them for the side hikes from the river. Which are usually washes with some water crossings. These shoes did so well! They have incredible traction for climbing over big rocks in dry washes, or on slick ledges. The traction is incredible! They were comfortable right off the go and my custom orthotics fit in then since they have a removable foot bed. I loved these boots on the trip! Completely waterproof over the foot but if water gets up to the mid part where the laces are water does come in. I am going to look for a goretex hiking gater for that.

This is my forth pair of these shoes. I wear them every day( whether I 'm going hiking or going to work) and they me last 4- 5 years. I like them because they 're very comfortable and the GORE- TEX keeps my feet dry. They also get a great grip on the trail and protect my feet from all manner of trail hazards. On the negative side, the sole separates from the shoe after a few years. It ’s possible to glue the sole back on, but for what these cost, the soles shouldn ’ t come unglued.

I have had many( at least 6) pairs of Siren Edge 3 shoes and they always fit great. I ’ ve taken them to Europe once and getting ready for another trip. Wouldn ’ t want to have anything else for long days of sightseeing.

[ I LOVE these boots!! They are so comfortable. I wore them on a 6 hour hike and had zero blisters or pain! They stood up well to mud and gravel. Their traction was great and I didn ’ t slip on any rocks. I would absolutely recommend this product.

[ Love these Keen hiking boots. They are more lightweight than my last boots which made for more comfort. Four mile hike and my feet felt great. No break- in time needed. I like the ankle height for added protection as well. Through dirt, rocks, grass and more every step felt secure. Can ’ t wait to get more miles in!

Where did I take my new shoes? First trip is to Portugal, including beaches, cobblestone streets, hiking on gravel and stone paths. And yes, a bit of water to test the waterproof claim. Warm and dry- but not too warm. They breathe better than past waterproof shoes( including from Merrell) I have had. Fine for wearing all day in the sun. A good balance of support and cushion, without excess weight. Excellent traction on smooth surfaces.

This is my second pair of nova waterproof, I mainly got them because they match my rain suit for when I bass fish and they are waterproof, they just happen to be very comfortable, the new pair has more room in the toe area which I like very much, my older pair still are in good shape except for where I got a hook caught in my shoe and had to remove it, it messed up the thread slightly, but probably I ’ m the only one that would notice ✌️🐸🐸🎣🎣🐸🐸🙄

[ Bought these boots to replace another hiking pair. These are definitely more durable. Takes a minute to break in and get boot tongue in right spot, but worth the effort! Helps keep me up to speed walking trails with my active dog! Recommend for sure! Green laces make the boot! The details!
