Seem to be waterproof and they are very comfortable. They do not squeak like my last pair of On so that is a big plug! Able to wear them traveling all day and be comfortable but they do make my feet sweat a lot. The green color is nice but impossible to keep clean. This boot the sizing has changed slightly they are smaller in the toe box. I went with a half size larger but I probably could have stayed with my regular size 10 and just broke them in. They are to me a light version on the quest boots that are much heavier and clunck than these. These come out the box with a good insole and minimal break in time, I ’ ve had some 14- 18 hour days on them and while my feet are tired and fatigued at the end of the day, they don ’ t hurt. They also provide great ankle support. I ’ ve worn it hiking, inside of shoothouse training, and during hog hunts and it ’s been a very reliable sturdy shoe for me. While it may be labeled “ waterproof ” I wouldn ’ t walk through deep water or soak them for hours on end and expect perfectly dry feet, it ’s unrealistic and not what it ’s built for in my opinion, it will keep them dry in rain or more shallow ankle deep water, or walking through wet fields. However nothing is perfect, if your looking for something to keep your feet from sweating this isn ’ t it, with them being the waterproof version your feet are going to sweat pretty good, I knew this going into it and therefor it didn ’ t bother me. But I would recommend a different version if you want a nice breathable shoe. The other thing I would change is how thick the tongue is, it doesn ’ t really rub or create hot spots or sit weird it ’s just a personal preference thing for me.

This is my second pair of Konos TRS shoes and they are just as comfortable as the ones I bought last year. Taupe color is exactly as pictured and fits true to size. I 've walked trails and sidewalks in these shoes and have no foot pain and my feet stay put, no sliding in the shoe and no heel slips. Easy to clean up if they get dirty on a trail. Suggestions: wear ankle socks the first couple wears to break them in, I wore no- shows the first wear and had some uncomfortable rubbing on my achilles till about the 3rd wear.

[ I used to be a loyal fan of New Balance 940s, and then they got discontinued. I bought a couple online before they all disappeared, and then I finally wore them all out. I could n't find any other shoe in New Balance, Asics, Brooks that had similar stability, arch support and cushioning. It was disconcerting. I had a total knee replacement a few years ago, so all these new foam sneakers that allow the back/heel of the shoe to rotate laterally are not good for me. I finally decided I had to come up with a new approach to finding a sneaker. I saw these sneakers and thought, hey! If this is for trail running, then it's got to be made with better stability. I gave it a shot and was so pleasantly surprised! These sneaks have good arch support and have cushion that seems resilient vs. the cheap foam in a lot of new sneakers that just compress. There is good stability to prevent your foot from rotating side to side in the heel. I walk my dog at a fast pace 2x per day every day for about 30 minutes each, so I put on miles pretty quickly. Seems to be holding up pretty well! The logo is a bit large for my taste, but that's just cosmetic. The only thing that's a little odd is the material, which seems like maybe it's less breathable in the toe box area vs. the average sneaker. However, I ca n't really tell because it's still cold out, so when it gets warmer I 'll have a better idea of that. Overall, pleasantly surprised and very happy to put them on my feet every day!

I love these Merrells. They are sturdy, stable and feel like a running shoe. This is my 3rd pair. I have these also in a wide and is a low quarter version. I use them for hiking, dog walking in the rain and snow and walking around our land. I have used them in pouring rain and my feet stayed dry. I dont think they are sturdy enough for heavy backpacking but for a light day pack, no problem. Size wise I usually wear a 9. 5 in running and training shoes and I ordered a 10 in these and they were good. I prefer the wide version though as it gives me just a bit more toe box room, not necessarily extra width but roomier. I am hoping these will break in enough to be as comfortable as the wider version. But a great comfortable boot overall.

I love Merrell Moab ’s, wear them every day and have 5 pair. But as hot as this summer has been, I wanted a pair of lighter weight shoes. I started with Merrell styles, but had no luck getting a good fit for my problem feet—a neuroma and plantar fasciitis on one foot and a bunion on the other. I also tried styles from all the highly rated shoes for walking, including those with gel insoles. They all bothered my neuroma, and the gels were so bouncy they made me feel a little unsteady on my feet. Good replacement for Vaya
I bought this boot about a month ago to replace a previous model I had from Salomon. It was the closest to the Vaya. Feel is great overall, however the size is about 1/2 size too small. Ordered same size my old pair. That is the only complaint. I was a 6. 5 in the Vaya and believe a 7 in these would have been better. They are super light weight, rugged, super water resistant too

I 've only wore these a few times but so far I really like them. I may have got a half size too big but they are spacious, flat and proivide lots of room for my toes. The traction on the bottom feels really good as well. I had ordered the low top to see if they would replace my trail glove but unfortunately those ones seem to have a much higher arch support than these mids. These ones are much more neutral. So if you are like me and want a more barefoot feel then these may work even if the low ankle wrapts did not feel good for you. I wear a 10 in some of their shoes and I got a 10. 5 in these.

Bought these as a work shoe as I work in hvac and am anywhere from rooftops to crawl spaces, outdoors in the woods to city sidewalks. They are very comfortable and keep my feet dry in the rain and breathe enough so I don ’ t sweat like crazy in the hot attics. The sole has enough grip to keep me from slipping on wet banks. I feel like I have some extra spring in my step with the thick cushiony heel on these boots. My only complaint is the elastic cord for the lace eyelets. On the left boot the cord is cut too long inside the shoe and if my foot is pressed up against anything on the outside it hurts. Other than that I ’ m very pleased.

These boots are exactly what I was looking for- I hiked 20 miles of rocky, snowy mountain trails and my feet never hurt, the waterproofing is excellent and my feet were never wet hiking through snow or on rainy days in the city. One caution- these are fairly low, so your ankles might get a little wet when walking for a while in the rain, but it ’s worth the low profile style. I wear a 10 running shoe and a 9. 5 fit perfect.
