This bag is very large. Almost a little too large. We attend a lot of highschool sporting events and can fit multiple blankets, water bottles, jackets, food, etc in it. I like the handle design allowing to you use the flat handles instead of needing to carry it with the larger shoulder straps. The clip rings are great for clipping on keys, hand warmers, battery packs or bluetooth speakers. Next time I 'd probably go with the 30 instead of the 50 but this will work great even being a bit too big. I feel like I could put way more weight in here than it recommends but no reason to over test it. Like any other product, you pay for what you get when it comes to quality and you ca n't go wrong with these bags regardless of the size that you choose.

These are great duffel bags! I ordered the red, green, and white ones. I ordered the small size, because I just need it for daily trips to the YMCA f and maybe for a day or two trip here or there. It will hold a pair of shoes and a basketball, my swimming gear, and a change of clothes no problem. I use the shoe garage for a basketball and put the shoes on the other side to get the extra room when carrying both. If you are looking to carry a lot more I 'd move up to the medium size which I purchased at first, but it was just to big for my needs. The small is perfect in my opinion. The red and white bags really pop, but that Oregon green really takes the take. The black option looks ok too, but I just like the other 3 colors better.

I bought this 2 yrs ago for a long weekend trip. I do n't like to check luggage so this was perfect for a carry on. I was able to OVER pack for a 3- 4 day trip multiple times. This is the only bag I use now. I was able to fit an extra pair of sneakers and flip flops in the side compartments and utilized the spot for my 13 '' iPad. I do have one little gripe( not with the bag, but the packaging) You guys wrap all of the zippers in tape and paper, I 'm assuming to protect them from getting scratched. Do you know when it will absolutely get scratched? When I 'm trying to cut the tape off. Let them be free! Anyway, I love this design. Firstly, this bag has a small plastic internal frame to provide structure. The frame is lightweight, yet sturdy enough for a fully packed bag. Because of the frame's assistance with weight distribution, everything felt lighter on my back. This bag also has many different pockets and straps for varied packing strategies. The straps on the bottom of the bag are perfect for a sleeping bag, ground mat, or small tent. Underneath those straps is a small pocket that holds an included rain cover to keep your bag totally dry during heavy rain. There is also a pocket on top of the bag for any small items you may need to access on the go, without opening or unpacking the rest of the bag. Finally, there is a pocket for a hydration bladder, so you can stay hydrated as you move. Some other useful features are the emergency whistle on the chest strap, the included strap management bungees( so those leftover strap ends after adjustment are n't hanging everywhere), and the water bottle pockets on the sides. Overall, I would give this product a 5/5. Met or exceeded all of my expectations. I would highly recommend this bag to anybody who is a frequent camper or hiker.

I have had this bag since 2017 and I beat the crap out of it and it has held up beyond my expectations.. The only thing I wish is that I could wash it better, because I am so hard on my stuff. I would put one more strip of padding on the bottom of the area for the laptop and two way zippers for the front little pocket, One other suggestion is for the side pockets where you can put your drinks it would be cool if one of those was a little longer, and you could zip it up.... I have made multiple trips to Asia with this bag and have been thoroughly impressed. The size allows me to carry it on the plane and still has plenty of capacity for all my gear and souvenirs picked up along the way. Having the quick stash zipper at the bottom allows me to access things like a jacket or charging cables which is clutch. I would suggest having the water bottle holder on the same side as the side handle for when utilizing the luggage strap but it is not a deal breaker.

I 've been using this Surge backpack since 2019 and it has been great! I 've heard my family's thoughts on the newer model of the same backpack and they are not as impressed. The straps are more prone to breaking and the seams have started tearing pretty early in the life of their backpack. This being said, my older model has been so great! It's gone through years of hauling notebooks, folders, textbooks, water bottles, and clothes for practice after school. One of the shoulder straps did begin to tear last year( 2024) slightly but a quick stitch- job has got it back to working order. I would definitely buy a North Face backpack again!

Great bag. Great size. I bought this bag to replace another 40L bag I had for work and daily use. I was looking for a bag that had plenty of room in a main compartment, while also being able to hold a laptop and smaller items( pens, small tools, notepad). This bag fit the need great. I recently traveled across the country with it and it held up great. The straps and back panel make it comfortable to wear, the roll top makes throwing and grab large items easy, and it did well holding up to a light snow flurry while I was out( though I feel the material would struggle with a heavy soak). I bike commute and found this bag to be useful even to throw a few groceries in on the way home. Overall if you 're looking for a good size do anything bag this is a good fit.

[ Great bag when I am on the go. It ’s small, light weight, good looking and all weather resistant as the material will repel water. It ’s not a heavy material, light enough that you would not mind taking it anywhere. So far I have taken it to the gym and used it as a diaper bag, it ’s versatile in my opinion. In terms of the material, it ’s like a sturdy all weather material type, see pictures, very easy to clean. I have been able to wipe off milk spit up from my newborn fairly easily, that ’s a plus. Don ’ t see why one would not be able to clean off anything else if anything was spilled on it. Plenty of pockets, one in the front with a zipper, beneath the front you can hold a towel, baby blanket, burp towels, changing mats, gym mat whatever you need. There ’s a few pockets in side the bag as well, see pics. Plenty of space for a quick run to the store, gym, doctors office, play date- I ’ m really liking this bag. I ’ m digging the way the bag looks as well, it ’s sporty and gymish, like a gym bag had a baby with a backpack- I would probably make the backpack straps bigger, as that ’s what I prefer. This is the second one of these we own. My son has the first one, and after the first year of carrying it for school a thoroughly beating it up, it barely showed any wear or tear. The net pockets on the side were the only place that a couple of very small holes had occurred. Other than that it was in perfect condition. just took out my 1997 yellow duffel that I had since college to send it to overnight camp with my 11 year old daughter. It was filhty and covered with cobwebs. I love this bag so much I bought 3 for my family. We use it for one bag travel as a carry- on in the States& for overseas. It's so lightweight that we have n't ever reached the 10kg limit that European airlines have. We are usually around 7 to 9kg for 1 week plus of clothes. That includes 4 pairs of pants, 7 shirts, 3- 4 quarter zips, 7 socks/underwear, 2 pairs of shoes, 1 puffer jacket& toiletries. At 45L, it fits in the carryon bag checks. It can be pushed to fit. The end zip pocket is great to toss in phone, wallet, passport at security gates. Do n't really use the side zip pocket much, though there's a place for keys there. The water bottle pocket large enough for a 24 oz stainless bottle. The zippers are large& of very good quality. 2 handles on the ends are useful as well as the top straps which convert to backpack straps. The only thing that could be improved is to make the top of the backstraps a little wider. It's a bit narrow& can dig into the shoulder when we load up to 9kg. We have used these bags for 1 trip of 2 weeks in the UK& 1 trip of 2- 1/2 weeks on the continent, as well as several trips in the US.

Honestly didn ’ t like Cotopaxi just simply because the people who typically wore it or used it tended to be quite annoying to me. So I judged Cotopaxi poorly just based on the most common users. However, after my wife showed me her ALLPA 35L travel pack carry on that could carry the same amount as some of my duffle bags that couldn ’ t be considered a carry on I was intrigued. I was impressed by the quality, I would say some more basic options for color ways would be nice, but I understand that isn ’ t Cotopaxis ultimate goal. I really liked the versatility and although it ’s quite expensive I hope it lasts. Haven ’ t had enough time to really put the durability to the rest, but it seems it should hold up for a while, only time and usage will tell.
