I bought this boot about a month ago to replace a previous model I had from Salomon. It was the closest to the Vaya. Feel is great overall, however the size is about 1/2 size too small. [ These are sturdy enough for light hiking and lightweight enough that I wear them everywhere, all the time. The toe box is spacious enough to accommodate my weird feet, and the inserts and good enough that I do n't have to replace them with orthotic- wear type insoles. The color fades quickly, but who cares? I have a sort of weird gait, so I wear down the outside of the heel sooner than I would like, but that happens with all my shoes. I do n't think it's a durability fault, because most of the sole retains its tread.

I have severe plantar fasciitis and have to switch shoes on the regular. These are part of my rotation and have been great. I like the traction, support and waterproof features. I do find it a bit stiff but not enough to complain about it they need broke in. The fit is roomy not narrow like other brands and true to Keens shape with a wider area by the ball of the foot. Stability is great. The color is perfect love the green ones matches my Oregon Ducks gear.

OBSESSED is an understatement for these shoes! I absolutely love these boots, they are so comfortable. I got them for a few hiking trips I had coming up and they did not disappoint. No breaking in necessary ready to wear right out of the box. My old Merrill ’s were bulky and heavy but these are so comfortable and light. Did an 8 to 10 mile hike in them back to back no problem. Definitely recommend will not disappoint. Water proof, kept my feet dry during the rainy season hikes I did. Also the color is super cute, I got the grey ones and they matched with everything.

I love these Merrells. They are sturdy, stable and feel like a running shoe. This is my 3rd pair. I have these also in a wide and is a low quarter version. I use them for hiking, dog walking in the rain and snow and walking around our land. I have used them in pouring rain and my feet stayed dry. I dont think they are sturdy enough for heavy backpacking but for a light day pack, no problem. Size wise I usually wear a 9. 5 in running and training shoes and I ordered a 10 in these and they were good. I prefer the wide version though as it gives me just a bit more toe box room, not necessarily extra width but roomier. I am hoping these will break in enough to be as comfortable as the wider version. But a great comfortable boot overall.
