I wear them alone or with the Winter Pro Tight as a base layer for skiing, winter ice and mixed climbing, snow shoveling, dog walking and general all around wear. Great stretch and fit the thigh pockets are excellent for ski pass and cell phone, hip pockets for Porsche key fob and folding knife. I bought an orange pair then an Olive Drab set I liked them so much. Probably get a black set next!

Interesting to see the various issues around clumped filling. I 've used this jacket around the globe in various environments so it's had plenty of washes. I 've never experienced the clumping issues. I wash it separately shake it out and hang to dry. When dry I give it another shake and off we go. No clumping, no gaps, no issues.

I chose the Latt over the X- Latt as the finish and fit felt better. Yes it ’s a bit more heavy in weight but I liked the bulk and the finish is more matte. I hope not to have the clumping issues.
