I received my boots 6- weeks ago and have worn them a dozen times building mountain bike trails in Northern California. The boots are very comfortable, have great traction and warm in cool weather. What I like best about the boots is that I am sure footed when working on steep grades, in mud, and in thick bushes. Plus having to hike in to get to a trail section may be over a mile which is no problem with these boots, just a joy splashing through rivers, muck, you name it.

Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

Love these boots. They are heavy and durable and provide a lot of support. I am normally a size 7 1/2, have often needed to go with an 8 in boots, and espeically any shoe made from Italy. I started with an 8 and they were too big. I was worried in buying a size 7, figuring they would be way too small as I have never worn a size 7, but to my surprise, the size 7 was perfect. I bought a pair for my wife and 14 year old daughter. Both were a size small. My wife is a 7. 5 and I bought her the 8. My daughter is an 8 and I bought her the 8. Both were too snug. 9 was the right fit. Recommend buying a size bigger than you normally wear.

Over the course of 11 days& 3000 miles, we visited Arches, Canyon Lands, Dead Horse Point, Zion, Sequoia, King's Canyon, Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. I had a pair of Muckmaster boots and they lasted for 4 winters of daily dog walks, maintaining their waterproof quality even after the sole of one boot started to come away. My wife bought me a pair of these Arctic Sport boots and apart from the logo at first sight they appear( and fit) identical to the Muckmasters. The extra thermal protection does not change the fit. These boots are like puting on an awesome pair of mittens. Once you figure out what layers to wear for the right fit( chaffing). The group is great on slick snow and crunchy. With deep snow the neoprene uppers keep right and snug keeping the snow out. I ca n't wait to see how the handle the ADK shoulder season this spring.
