I wear size 6 1/2 but was advised to go up a half size since my feet are wide. They were too tight so I got size 7 1/2 and they feel much better but I am breaking them in before a winter trip to Japan where we will be doing a lot of walking. The boots are a simple style which I love and will keep my feet warm. I looked at many other winter boots on several websites and none can compare to the Cedar Quilt and I love the color green so this was perfect. I will attach two photos to the review. I wear an 8 across the board in all brands and very rarely have to size up or down. I needed to size up to a 9 for these boots. They were difficult to get on in my regular size. I 'd suggest sizing up.

I wear them 95% of the time, on daily 2+- 4 km dog walks, outdoors, year- round and they 're at their peak look and feel. The single possible improvement I made- and that's on me because we have 4 months of winter here- is to replace the soles; the originals are quite tricky on frozen ground. Or a great workout, just watch your head yeah? I chose Vibram, a quick fix and better suited for that.

I 've worn these a few times a month for about five months now and I 'm impressed by their waterproof ability. Recently I had to work for several hours out in the rain and every layer I was wearing ended up soaked- but my socks and feet stayed dry! Construction wise I 'm concerned about how hard they are to pull on- I 'm afraid they 'll wear out at the heel early.
