Gardening, hiking, walking the dog 3+miles a day, to work, doing errands, slipping them on in the early morning to pick up dog poop. These were easy to slip on and off. My feet stayed dry. In the dead of summer, they can get a bit hot. My regular running shoes are even hot! but overall my feet did not overheat. The shoes had great traction. I was thinking about getting XtraTuf boots for a long time but never had any reason to until I started needing a waterproof boot that wasn ’ t a full tall winter boot. I ’ m glad I got them. They aren ’ t breathable( as I expected) due to the waterproofing of the boot, but the fact that they are short boots helps them breathe a little more than a tall boot. They are very comfortable and I have even wore them for short hikes because I decided not to change my shoes. They have quickly became my everyday winter shoe/boot. I love the purple color, it is so fun, but when mud splashed on them it stays visible until you wash it off. The one time I did scrub them off they did clean up relatively nicely, but if you want an easier maintenance boot, I would get a darker color.

[ I bought a different color just like the one in the picture back in 2017. I still have them. They 're still in good shape. I wear them not as much as I used to but it's an awesome shoe. I love it. That's why I bought these the darker ones and they are just really nice. They 're their lightweight. They 're comfortable their waterproof. I 've already put them to the test And it held up excellent and I would buy the shoe time and time again. I mean they last so long.

The Greenback is lighter more flexible and the most comfortable wading boot I have tried. I added the felt spiked sole and what a great combination. It ’s more fun fishing if your not slipping on the rocks. The Greenback with spiked sole definitely keeps me on the stream longer

I do a lot of fishing and these boots are great. I usually wear a size 12 but since I would be using these with waders I went up a size to a size 13 and they are perfect. The different treads on the bottom are a little hard to change but that ’s not something you do often anyway.

When purchasing this boot, I read a bunch of reviews. Some said the sole comes off after a week. I still reserve the right to edit this review however, my wife has been wearing them almost every day. These boots are awesome. I finally broke down and bought a pair a couple weeks ago. Warm comfy and lightweight. Worth every penny. Definitely go up a size they run a size small. I normally wear 9, so I had to size up to a 10. Already looking for my next pair of Sorel!!!

Very warm and comfortable. I keep the laces a little loose and tied which allows me to slip on and off easily. I got a half size bigger than my sneaker size which allows for thicker socks. Looks great with jeans and leggings.
