I bought my Rough& Tough IR's almost 5 years ago and while I dont wear them often they have only aged like a fine wine. If I do n't wear them for a while they become narrow and tight but give them some heat or mink oil and they loosen back up and once they get hot from body heat they loosen back like my childhood baseball glove. I expected a break- in period but these blacksmiths were comfortable out of the box. Soft but supportive and the fit was perfect for me. No chafing, roomy but not loose. The traction was good even in wet weather. And they are fine to wear even during hot and humid days where I live. Chose the copper rough and tough because I think the look is so classic and understated. Love the versatility as well. Can use them with just about every pair of pants and( even shorts) in my closet. I had a pair of the Iron Rangers and liked the comfort of the footbed, but the sole provided no cushioning, so I sold them. I bought these about five weeks ago and I like them very much. They were pretty comfortable right away, but I did have to endure some irritation on one heel for the first week or so. There is no longer any irritation, and the footbed had formed to my feet more so, so I really enjoy wearing them. They have pretty good cushioning because of the soles. The boots are a little challenging to get on because the tongue is gusseted so high, but that is certainly not a deal breaker.

Great boot that goes well with kakis or jeans or for hiking as well. Lightweight. Fits true to size. It wo n't feel like it when you first put then on, but they will stretch quickly. I could barely get mine on the first time. I considered send back to next size up, but glad I did n't after wearing twice.

There isn ’ t a safety tow booth on the market that is more comfortable, good looking than this one. Yeah people love the moccasin toe, not I. I ’ m a round toe feller. These things are so comfortable. I almost took them to Europe on vacation as my only shoe because I can consistently walk over 12 hours a day on the job site. Note, you do have to break these in. They hurt your feet for the first couple miles. Once they ’ re broken in, you could wear them to bed

These are awesome boots. I ordered them a few weeks ago and got them within a week of ordering. I love the feel of them and they keep your feet cool even while just walking. I ’ ve been using them for fishing and walking around in muddy areas. I have tried several brands of boots some less expensive and some a whole lot more but I have to say nothing beats Mucks.

I have several different brands and types of this kind of boot and these are the best of them all. Ended up having to wear them for a week straight for 9+ hours and did n't bother me a bit. Usually wearing this type of boot will cause me feet and back to ache if wearing them for an entire day or two but these are amazing! Will be buying another set.

These boots are great for working and riding on the ranch. Fits true to size. The only complaint is the top is a little thick on the inside and rubs slightly when riding for long periods of time.
