These are a replacement pair for the same boot style i bought 2 years ago, They fit the same as the old ones. Just needed some new ones due to getting deer blood on the previous pair. My last pair was over 2 years although they were hammered. Just picked up another pair and fitted them with some custom insoles. Very happy with this boot and will probably pick up another pair in 2 years. The sole wears somewhat quick but thats what you get when it's a non- slip sole that doesnt track mud everywhere. Pair it with compression socks or nicely padded merino wool socks and you wo n't have any foot pain at all. I 've had this boot for a little less than a year and they have changed my daily life. These boots are of the upmost comfort and quality, hands down my favorite pair to throw on and let life take me to where I need to go. At first I was skeptical of such a modern take on the classic square toe, I have never owned a pair of derby boots or chelseas before this and they seriously go on the foot like a breeze. This is my third pair of Carhart's 6 '' Soft Toe Work Boot. I love them. They are tough, long lasting and comfortable. I use them for my everyday foot wear except dress occassions. I even take my daily four mile walk in them. I hike in them and hunt in them. For me, they are the best boot I have every owned in terms of quality. I bought these boots over a year ago. So far they have been pretty good. I work as a full time diesel technician and occasionally have to do landscaping and construction work and these boots have held up pretty well to everything I do. The oil, diesel, break cleaner, etc have not hurt the leather nor the stitches at all. I will say I am disappointed in the insoles, being that they only lasted me about 4 months. I have had to replace the insoles quite often but mainly because I do weigh about 255 lbs and have a very wide foot. Also the hook eyelet on my left boot broke after about 6 months as well. The water proof feature has been great even for being a lace up boot. I ’ ve been I some fairly deep water( nearly covering up the entire boot) and haven ’ t had any water go into these boots or the leather. All in all these boots have been a strong and sturdy boot for what I need them for. I ’ d recommend them highly since I haven ’ t had much issues with them besides the two mentioned and have found them super comfortable

I wish they had better grip on the bottom sole I went on a newly installed roof in a residential area which the roof material was made of some new white colored vinyl roof material and I would slide while walking to the service a HVAC package unit. Muck really knocked it out of the park with this boot. The fit is great, but the function is top shelf! If you ’ re riding in the winter and need a bit of warmth these are the only way to go. I can put my spurs on them. They slide in and out of a stirrup well. I really hope this becomes one of Muck ’s mainstay boots. It ’s really well built and well designed.

I have no intention of using these boots for riding or cleaning stalls. I will use them for Winter Walk and forays in the forests and beaches shooting( photography) wildlife. I took them out for our first snowfall walk. They are comfortable and warn. It was 20 degrees and I wore only a dress weight alpaca sock. My feet were never cold. There was plenty room for me to wear a heavier weight sock. I did encounter some wet spots along the marsh and my feet were totally dry. I will note that these boots do not have lug soles, so they were slick walking up snow covered steep slopes. This is not a knock on these boots for me. I have Yaktrax Diamond grips and Kahtoola Micro Spikes- both fit over these beefier boot. I love the ease of slipping into with the optional pull tabs( which I didn ’ t need to use.). The last pair of “ rubber boots ” I owned were snug to pull on. The liner is great. I ’ m sure these will be what the doctor ordered for my Winter Adventures. I wear 10. 5 Wide typically. The 11 and Medium width were perfect.

I purchased the Men's Mt. Maddsen Slip- On Shoe in October 2022 about a month before a trip to Northern Ireland. I was looking for a comfortable hiking shoe. Having previously owned a pair of Timberland SmartWool slip- ons that were wonderful to wear, I gave the Mt. Maddsen slip- ons a try. They did not disappoint. The leather uppers softened and molded themselves to fit my foot so they have become my preferred shoe for working in the yard as well as hiking. They shed water well and the thick soles keep my foot out of puddles in the rain. After 2 years of hard use( I write this in 2024) the soles are worn, but no separation at all from the leather uppers. Very well made.( This is for the model A6660 made in Vietnam)

Being on my feet most of the days for the past 30+ years of my career, I need a greatly comfortable pair of shoes.... especially with my lower discs deteriorated. Also need the shock resistance working on 120- 480 volt equipment. Also need the slip resistance on slippery and/or oily surfaces. These have been my 'go- to' for a couple decades now. These are more comfortable to me than any pair of 'tennis show' I 've worn There is a negative to the comfort... the shoes are actually designed as a 'trail style' shoe. That means the soles are softer than a typical work shoe/boot. It's worth my comfort to have to buy a new pair a little sooner than I would another work boot. I wear the low and high tops.

A good place would be when I purchased these bad boys during my time working at Cabela's 4 years ago. Once I placed these glorious looking fiends on a display rack, I knew I had to have them. And boy am I glad I do. These have been my year- round daily boot, for literally all weathers in Colorado, and I wear them literally every day. The leather has worn in so amazingly, that I forget I 'm wearing them sometimes. I have worn the soles down to being almost flat, now, and have swapped out insoles for some Meindl ones, but man, insoles only do so much. I wear these hiking, Jeeping, running errands, going outside in general, these are what I want on my feet. I have worn these at several jobs, ranging from my mechanic work, to the tarmac as ground crew for an airline, and they are still solid, no tears, rips, anything!( there is some stuffing from the belly of the airplanes when I was stuck on my knees, but it does matter to me, they still look great!) They are such amazing boots, that I base any other boot I try on them. And none have compared yet. You still debating whether to get them or not? Do you like/want to buy multiple pairs of the same boot, or have one that will last through the ages, and all the crazy in between? You wo n't regret these, I guarantee.

I got these for shoveling snow, before/after skiing, walking dogs, and other winter use. They 've been very comfortable and provide good grip. Warmth seems good too, but I have n't spent hours outside in them. I wore them as I loaded/unloaded skis and luggage in- 30F temperatures, and my feet stayed warm for those 10- 15 minutes. And I 've shoveled snow in them at- 5F with no issues. As long as they last, I 'll be really happy with these.

I got these a month ago and they are excellent. I am a firefighter and these are the best pair of station shoes I have ever had. Super comfortable and light weight. My back has never felt better since I bought them. I got a 10. 5 not sure how they would stretch, next time I ’ ll order a 10. They are true to size. Lesson learned on my end. I 've had these for a year now and they 've been my favorite pair of work shoes so far. Comfortable for the most part. My only gripe is that my little toe on my big ol wide foot hangs just behind the steel toe section. If I kick anything with the toe of the shoe, the steel cap jams into the tip of my little toe. Other than that, I have no complaints.

I wear these shoes to work every day and everywhere. Tough as nails and looks great even beat up. I never complain about foot pain anymore with these. The soles are so tough and the wear is minimal. The leather does wear out after a while meaning a looser fit but the hide hold up. I 'm on my 3 or 4th pair.

I like these boots. They are comfortable- I have a wide foot and a high arch; these boots have a wide toe box and a good footbed. No walking fatigue or foot discomfort. They are not insulated, so don ’ t expect a go to winter boot for long days outside, but great for slushy days and the office. 4 months in I see no quality issues, no water intrusion- granted I have not fully submersed them in water, but no problems for daily Michigan winter use. [ Are these as comfy as a pair of slippers? No! But they are a great pair of casual work boots. They are firm and supportive…and light. They run true to size. They have a traction tread on the sole- not a smooth soft- sole, and they “ lean ” a little forward, making a walk across the warehouse or the parking lot a welcome activity! They appear to be put together pretty well, I expect to get some miles out of these boots.
