This is my first pair of suede/roughout type boots and my second pair of Durangos and WOW am I in love with these!! My absolute favorite pair right now for sure. All of my shoes are a size 8. 5, but my first pair of Durangos I bought an 8 which ended up being too big and gave me blisters, so I decided to try a 7. 5 for this pair and they fit SO perfectly! They were comfortable from the moment I put them on and have yet to give me a blister or sore foot. I guide trail rides in the summer here in Montana, so I put these bad boys to work right away, and man did they hold up! I spent 12+ hours in them some days and we do a ton of walking between rides, but my feet were never sore or uncomfortable in these. They are fantastic to ride in as well and I really enjoy the thumb holes to help pull them on, as my arches can make that difficult in certain styles. I 'll be curious to see how long they last and how the suede/roughout holds up, but I have high hopes! I highly recommend these boots but be sure to double check what size you need before ordering.

Nice boots. I always order a wide in a cowboy boot and have several pairs of Rebels in wide. These are WIDE and the toe area is really, really tall. Like wiggle your toes and not touch the top tall. I am not sure why these fit so much different than all my other Rebels but they do. To solution, I added another insole on top of the non- removable insole already in the boot( this was also a first as all my other Rebels have a removable insole). I am still happy with them, but they certainly fit different. Additionally, they are substantially darker brown than the pictures would indicate. I hope this helps someone!

The first thing I like about these boots is how shockingly comfortable they are, I have never had a pair of work shoes/boots that have been this comfortable. I work in a glass plant. In addition I do a great deal of mechanical work and outdoor activities. These boots have handled it all with no issues. Not the MOST comfortable, but it is a more old school boot. Soles hold up incredibly well considering I walk on broken glass every day. I bought these in December 2024. They ’ ve sat because I was stuck between the 9D and 9. 5D. I ordered both. I ’ m normally a 9. 5 in just about everything. Vans, Nikes, Thorogoods, you name it. The 9. 5s had a little bit of heel slip and plenty of toe room, and I was afraid of them feeling too comfortable straight out of the box and them stretching too much. Because that ’s honestly what they felt like at first. The 9ds felt tight. Very little heel slip, but doable, but ultimately tight… I decided to go with the pair that felt the most comfortable straight out of the box, the 9. 5s. Again, I was skeptical, but they turned out PERFECT. They are comfortable straight out of the box, and after just a day of wearing, I ’ m already noticing them molding to my feet and the heel slip vanishing, and turns out they were not too big at all, they were ABSOLUTELY perfect. So my recommendation with this particular pair of Durangos, go with your true to size. Even if they feel slightly loose at first, they will mold to your foot and the slip in heel will begin to go away as you wear them in. This is by far, THE MOST comfortable pair of cowboy boots I ’ ve ever owned. Ever. I absolutely love them. I do everything in these from yard work, going out and about, motorcycle riding, etc. these are awesome.

I weigh any where from 155- 165 at any given point. I am fire sprinkler fitter and have loved every bit of these boots. Downside with my trade is often times being in standing water and you get what you get from them not being water proof, that ’s okay. My girlfriend tries to get me to wear a different brand, nah….. I bought these boots about 4 months ago as a dress/casual boots as I was wearing Irish Setter Ashby 83908( a Union IW wearing safety toes, 100% BS right?). Well I was moved to another crew and was walking Iron and need a pair of lace ups. These boots have exceeded all expectations. The have been subjected to climbing columns, welding, cutting torches, and grinders( cut off wheels, tiger paws, and grinding rocks.) I wear these boots everyday for 18 hours+ from 4: 30 A. M. to about 10: 30 P. M. when I finally get to bed. I have walked 5+ miles a day( sometimes up to 15 miles a day) in them and the just keep going. My only gripe is Irish Setter does n't make an 8 '' version of this boot! I will be upgrading to Redwing 411/2418 in the next few weeks, but I will still wear these a a pair of 2nds. I will ALWAYS and FOREVER SONG THE PRAISES OF IRISH SETTER as the BEST entry level work boot! Oh lastly, I love Irish Setter boots so that I actually got married in a pair of them. On a farm, boots are tools. So far these are great. Light weight and comfortable. I 'd give them 4. 5 stars if it allowed. The. 5 is only because the lining in these have stretched in the heel, this is usually the case with lined boots.

So, I have owned western style boots from many companies including Ariat, Justin, Laredo, and Dan Post but never Durango. Had I known then what I know now I would have sent all the others back and focused on Durango. These are excellent. Great comfort and stability. My favorite boot style! This is my second pair and the color on these is perfect. My first are my daily wear shoes for work as a large animal vet assistant and I put 4 to 10 miles on them every shift and am on my feet 9- 11 hours a day. These boots hold up great and keep me comfortable and protected all day long. They are super comfortable in the stirrups as well and provide a lot of support even when posting the trot.

I complimented a co- worker of mines boots and she told be they were Ariat. She highly recommended them and as I have been looking for a good pair of waterproof boots, I immediately went to find a pair for myself. Theyre expensive but the quality is so good! Love Ariat boots' style& quality! I had owned for many years paddock, zip front boots for years that I wore in stables with cement floors& wore for riding English saddle w/ half- chaps. So when I wanted a nice pair of casual waterproof winter walking boots in the Chelsea style, I was thrilled to see that Ariat made them! Note: I first purchased reg width( wide, my width, was n't avail at the time) in size 8- 1/2 the boot itself fit perfect but the tops were too narrow above the ankle& rubbed my leg. I exchanged for wide width( avail after Christmas!) size 9( as 8- 1/2 were n't avail), I so wanted these boots. The top part above ankle does n't rub( yay) but the boot is way big for my foot. I bought super thick wool socks and manage but still too big on my feet, they slide as I walk. An 8- 1/2, wide- width would 've been perfect for me but I do n't believe they return 2x's. I wear them but can not walk fast in them and I 'm a NYer, oxymoronic. Highly recommend Ariat's Wexford Chelsea waterproof boots regardless! Super boots.

I have worn Sorel Chelsea boots for several years and have loved them. When my last pair needed to be replaced, I decided to give Ariat a try. I am extremely happy with these boots and will likely not go back to Sorel. They were comfortable out of the box with no break in period- this was shocking to me as someone with heel issues that are usually a problem with new boots. They are comfortable and I can walk around and stand all day without problems. They look great- I love the simple design and low profile logo. Highly recommend- these are the most comfortable and well made Chelsea boots that I have ever worn.

My foot size is 8. 5 regular. The boot size is the same but it feels `` spacious ''. Not too long or short or even wide but ample- enough to accommodate a thick sock. My advice would be that if your foot is low volume or on the small side of the size like mine, order down, if your foot is high volume, order your size, and if your foot is on the high side, order up. A size 8 might have been perfect for me but might not have been roomy enough for thick socks. It's a trade off. The boot leather is super thick but the boots were comfortable right out of the box. No break in required. So far they 're holding up well. The steel toe has not been a problem in the winter cold or summer heat. It is not a factor except when a chunk of wood slips out of my tired hands. I had to learn the need of a steel toe the hard way. I only wish Timberland attached a pull loop to the heel. They put one on their loafers but not on a 6 '' boot. Unusual. A loop would help with the on/off process. What would also help would be lace hooks in place off the top two lace holes. With lace holes the laces have to be pulled down and out to loosen them to widen the boot for removal. You ca n't just kick these boots off. Neither of the above nit picks is a deal breaker. I love these waffle stompers.
