My last pair was over 2 years although they were hammered. Just picked up another pair and fitted them with some custom insoles. I work in IT and while it may sound like I sit at a desk behind a computer screen, I assure you, I am climbing, squatting, lifting, pulling, in cramped quarters, outside, on roof tops, in dirty crawl spaces... This is my first pair of suede/roughout type boots and my second pair of Durangos and WOW am I in love with these!! My absolute favorite pair right now for sure. All of my shoes are a size 8. 5, but my first pair of Durangos I bought an 8 which ended up being too big and gave me blisters, so I decided to try a 7. 5 for this pair and they fit SO perfectly! They were comfortable from the moment I put them on and have yet to give me a blister or sore foot. I guide trail rides in the summer here in Montana, so I put these bad boys to work right away, and man did they hold up! I spent 12+ hours in them some days and we do a ton of walking between rides, but my feet were never sore or uncomfortable in these. They are fantastic to ride in as well and I really enjoy the thumb holes to help pull them on, as my arches can make that difficult in certain styles. I 'll be curious to see how long they last and how the suede/roughout holds up, but I have high hopes! I highly recommend these boots but be sure to double check what size you need before ordering.

Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

These are the most comfortable work boots I 've ever had. I 've been wearing Timberland Pro's for the last 8 years but decided it was time for a change because there is n't enough protection from corn formation. With these I do n't feel rubbing on the top of my feet. The cushioned wedge makes it easier to be on my feet for 8- 12 hour long days. The strings are light weight and do not dangle ridiculously long they 're perfect. The only thing I would love for them to add is a cushion barrier on the inside of the boot that wraps along the ankle. I 'm glad a made the switch to Carhartt for working boots and use Timberland for what they 're known best for, just fashion. Thank you from a proud hardworking Detroiter.
