As someone with a lot of foot problems, finding shoes that are comfortable, supportive, and that look nice had been a challenge. After trying similar LL Bean and Timberland shoes, I finally got the Moab 3 from Merrell. After 4 years of daily use and frequent outdoors activity including outings with my son's scout troop, the upper started to crack where my foot flexes. The sole and lining was still in good condition with reasonable wear. With a rainy camping trip looming, I got the replacement pair and have been just as happy with the new shoes as I had been with the old ones. These are fantastic shoes that offer great stability, decent protection against water, and great comfort.

This is my 5th pair of Tim boots... my oldest pair is maybe 15 years old.( 3 are Nellies and 1 is the anniversary 6 '' boot.) This platform chukka was a surprise with the cushy removable insole. From experience, I know wearing Tim boots a bit to allow them to conform to my foot is important for me. Can not wait to wear these!

I was afraid to buy these as there is only 1 review, which was negative. However, I find these shoes AMAZING!!! They are so easy to put on, compared to standard `` TIMS '', they are comfortable, like walking on a cloud, I am on my feet all day at work on mostly concrete floors and my feet feel great!!! they also have great traction. I bought these for a recent trip to Banff, Canada and they were amazing. They arrived only a few days before the trip so I was worried I would have issues with breaking them in but no problems! We did an 11 mile hike the second day of wearing them and I only got one tiny blister( which let ’s be honest, probably would have happened anyway). I wore them multiple times on my trip and every time I was so happy with them. Highly recommend!

These are super comfortable and very lightweight for a mid hiking shoe. The outer is only slightly tougher than a normal running shoe, but waterproof. Of course the outsole is much grippier. They are exactly what I was expecting from the description. I needed something with more ankle support but did n't need a heavy duty leather hiking boot. Very pleased!

I love these Sierra Mid Lace Waterproof Boots so much I purchased a second pair. They are so comfortable and great for walking/hiking long distances in any kind of weather. This season they are the only boots I 've consistently worn every day for play and work. The added bonus is they are nice looking and extremely durable. I have a lot of miles on my first pair and they still look great apres skiing in the height of winter and even dressed up. Best boots I 've ever worn.

The North Face Women's Sierra Mid boots were well made and stylish. I read other reviews that suggested going up a size. I usually wear a 9 or 9. 5 in winter boots, so I purchased sizes 9. 5 and 10. The 9. 5 was too small and the 10 was slightly too big. I was extremely disappointed because I loved the look and they were at a reasonable price point. Unfortunately had to return.

Love Hunter boots! The insulation is soft and adds warmth to an already great boot. If you 're going to wear them in the snow, you still probably want a wool sock, but great for chilly freezing rain temps.

Ended up going in store to find these after, I tried purchasing them at DSW and then DSW sent me the wrong boot not even what was ordered. Sadly they didn ’ t have them in store spoke to two of the associates at the Scarborough ME location and one of the guys help me order them and he got them here next day so very appreciative. Great customer service at the Scarborough ME store.

Bought these for the Chiefs games! I normally wear a 8 or 8 1/2 in shoes and I bought an 8 in these hunter boots. With regular socks there is quite a bit of space. So thick socks will these be prefect!! Along with the shearling insulation my feet will be able to withstand all temps!

I love Merrell Moab ’s, wear them every day and have 5 pair. But as hot as this summer has been, I wanted a pair of lighter weight shoes. I started with Merrell styles, but had no luck getting a good fit for my problem feet—a neuroma and plantar fasciitis on one foot and a bunion on the other. I also tried styles from all the highly rated shoes for walking, including those with gel insoles. They all bothered my neuroma, and the gels were so bouncy they made me feel a little unsteady on my feet. So I went back to Merrell and tried the speed solo, ordered up a half size, and finally found my fit! The shoes seemed narrow at first, but after wearing them a couple of times, they ’ re as comfortable as my Moab ’s.

I love these hiking shoes! I took them hiking in the PNW, and they were very supportive and still held up really well on very rocky trails. They especially felt very good descending on hikes, they did not hurt your toes like a lot of other shoes/boots do. I ordered a half size up, but they are pretty true to size. They are waterproof, expect for the mesh on top. They were perfect!
