I received my boots 6- weeks ago and have worn them a dozen times building mountain bike trails in Northern California. The boots are very comfortable, have great traction and warm in cool weather. What I like best about the boots is that I am sure footed when working on steep grades, in mud, and in thick bushes. Plus having to hike in to get to a trail section may be over a mile which is no problem with these boots, just a joy splashing through rivers, muck, you name it.

The first pair lasted for about a year and a half.( I work at a power plant that has a lot of construction going on) They are very comfortable to wear all day long. I work 10 hour shifts with no problems. I am flat- footed, so finding good work boots was important to me. These get the job done without my feet hurting. It took only a day or so to break them in. They are also waterproof, and unlike other boots, these really are waterproof. I have submerged almost my entire boots and not a single drop! A must have!

They ’ re tall, almost up to my knee, and fit snug around my leg( though not “ tight ”) so as not to have huge gaps where snow can get in. The Vibram Ice sole works — good traction on slippery surfaces. Note, however, these boots are not light, nor are they flexible like cheap boots — there ’ ll be no trips strolling in the mall with these. These are serious boots for serious cold.

I have owned these boots for over 1- 1/2 years now with no issues. I oil them every quarter to help with the wear and tear and to keep them soft. I keep them on a boot dryer at night to keep them dry. I work in the Dairy industry and walk through manure and chemicals, it is a very wet environment. I have gone through Red Wings and other carhartt boots that only last 6- 8 months. In short, thee boots are worth every penny. Wish I could get a pair with more insulation though.

First and foremost, customer service. It is OUTSTANDING! I ordered a size 10 boot online, which is my normal size. When I received them, they were real tight on me. I figured they would loosen up after a couple of days. They did n't. Because I wore them for 3 days, I figured that customer service would n't take them back. To my surprise, no questions asked, they not only took them back, but gave me the right advise and I reordered a larger size 10. 5. Customer service then noted for my file, that if these did n't fit, I could send them back again and they would work on another solution for me. I was stunned. Talk about pleasing the customer, they went beyond what I ever expected. Other than my initial expense, there was no additional cost for sending back or receiving the new pair. With this kind of customer service, you can order with confidence. Now to the boot. WOW. The advise received from customer service for the 10. 5 was correct. However I have 2 pairs of Rebel Pro boots I recently purchased. I have many boots by many manufacturers. These are the most comfortable and easiest to break in boots I ’ ve owned in 50+ years of cowboy boot ownership. I was a total R toe with leather sole devotee until I bought these square toe/ composite sole/ walking heel Durango boots. I wear them every day…. my R toe leather sole boots are now relegated to the back of the closet. No comparison in comfort and fit. All of my boots make that nice “ whoosh sound ” when putting them on… However the Durango boots are so much more comfortable for all day wear( and go whoosh). Great padding/ insert. Great traction via sole design. These have changed my perspective on what a cowboy boot should be. Awesome boots! I bought 1/2 size larger than I usually wear, YMMMV.

I like the boots a lot but I ca n't wear them to work cause I thought I was getting the steal toe for my job since they pay for them. But I ended getting non steal toe cause I went with the soles with the imprint which I thought were steal toe also since they pop up while looking at the ones without the insoles printed. So! I decided on the imprinted ones took me a week before we noticed at work they were not! So! Ca n't wear them at work. Wish they would have been steel toe. Great comfortable boot though.

They have held up to the wear and tear and are still as waterproof and as comfortable as the day I first bought them. I apply mink oil on them occasionally. I plan on buying a second pair soon. I have had these boots for about 6months now. They look amazing and has been a very durable, I build houses from foundation to the roof so I say all environments and these have done well. The waterproofing has seem to do good so far but with winter coming I ’ ll really put them to the test. As for fit they do run tight, I even got a 10W and it ’s still pretty snugged on the sides, I ’ m assuming that ’s to get the square to incorporated in them that causes that. I would suggest maybe ordering a half size bigger than normal. Traction is pretty good for the everyday wear and work, if you ’ re going to be on hill sides all day this boot isn ’ t for you. Protection wise the boot had done great, the leather still looks fairly new and no sign of wearing out on me, which is a plus ’s That ’s my only gripe so far. As expected another great boot

[ The Danner Acadia runs a little narrow on the sides, but it is overall a great boot. This is my second pair and I use them for work as a camera operator... I got switched on to them when I was documenting law enforcement on various tv shows. The boot is polishable and you can resole it. Keeps your feet dry and warm in a temperate climate, but also wo n't overheat your feet in the summer. Solid bang for the buck!

The Rocky Rider Lacer boot is the most versatile footwear you can buy for outdoor activities. They combine rugged construction with great comfort. I use mine for hiking, horseback riding, and fishing. They 're way more comfortable than cowboy boots and the soles have a great grip in rough/wet terrain. You can stand in ankle deep shallows and fish without getting your feet wet. When you 're done you can hike out or get on your mule and ride out. But either way you wo n't have to change boots.

Love the boot so far. The composite toe is definitely lighter than the steel toe but they are comfortable right from the get go! I made the mistake of getting a half size bigger since my normal size is always a little tight with the thicker socks in the winter so theyre definitely too loose on my feet. I shouldve stuck with my regular size. Oh and the zipper on the back is pretty sweet too. Definitely makes it very easy to slip on!

I think I may have ordered a half size too small, the toes on my right foot feel a little crowded. It could also be that I am used to square toe boots, but all around they seem like a solid set of boots. The tread is good, the stitching seems tough, and the zipper on the back is a nice touch for making the boots easier to get on and off. It 'll be interesting to see how that holds up to flexing though. So far so good!

[ I bought these for ice fishing. I needed a boot to be super warm& waterproof. Something that will still feel warm at 50mph and subzero air. These totally fit the bill. Very comfortable. The `` Boa system '' is really cool. Instead of leather or cotton laces, it's a wire system that tightens up to your comfort when you twist the button on the front. When you want `` out '' you pull the button out and the tongue loosens right up. Very convenient. I would recommend this boot for mostly active activities. I 'd to walk miles in them they are so comfortable, they also feel very sturdy and supportive which you 'd want in an ice fishing boot.

I am on my 2nd pair of the Athens Georgia boot and am as pleased with this pair as my first. I wear them every day to work and sometimes deer hunting and have had no issues with the water proofing. Looking at the other reviews I think these few people must have gotten some boots that were not inspected properly at the plant. Must have been right after lunch. LOL

I became interested in this style of boot due to me having bad/weak ankles. considering that im very active, i needed the support. i first tried the justin and after the second time of wearing them, quickly realized they were too stiff and too heavy and went to my local supply and tried on the georgia. i 've gone through three pair of which were each resouled atleast once and now about to pull the trigger on a fourth. with each pair, once broken in, feel like a pair of house slippers. as mentioned by others, the lether on the last two pair do seem to be a bit harder than previous. overall, i 'll have to give them a two thumbs up.

I 've had my Georgia boots about a month- I thought I 'd have to wear them a little each day until they were broken in- by the 2nd hour I had them on, I forgot that I was wearing new boots! From jumping on& off tractors to riding the Harley there's no need to change shoes. I double coated mine with Neatsfoot oil to soak in the leather but they are as soft as if that was already done out of the box. Thanks Georgia for still making a great product!

Best boot hands down. They are warm, comfortable, and light even with steel toe. Can work 14 hour shift in water and sewer and it feels like I had tennis shoes on all day. They also slide on very easily. Quality is insane.
