I work in construction, this product has been great during the colder months! They keep my legs warm, and they are n't constricting. Best of all, I can charge my phone with the powerbank! I would recommend this item to anyone that does n't like being cold( not just people that work in the trades)

I use this as an everyday jacket for plain clothes LE work in PA. It is insanely warm for how light weight it is. Water repellency and wind resistance is excellent. Excellent balance between weight and warmth. Only downfall is the length makes it difficult to get to a sidearm when zipped up.

Impressive 3- 1 after wearing out my North Face 3- 1 system I have wore for years. Bought this to replace it and I am happy with what my research settled upon. Love the zip out silk liner as a stand alone lite duty jacket, a nd the shell works excellent as a rain cover. This is a great system for a beginner or an expert in the field or out on the town. Size runs true and is a little longer than expected but I did not mind the extra length to cover my hind end.

Such an amazing jacket, i ’ m wearing mine every single day that it ’s raining.

I 've had my RG foray for a little over 3 years and it's been pretty good to me. I 've mostly worn the puffer by itself in cool weather. There's little wind resistance to it, so be warned. Otherwise it's a good standalone layer on even the coldest days for short exposure times. I 've had to wear the jacket on several rainy days, and the full system during an Easter trip to the UK in' 23. Scotland, Wales, and northern England are n't known for great weather in March and this trip was no exception. We endured near constant wind and periodic rain& sleet. When we went to London it rained for several hours one day and we were in it at its hardest. The fabric shed water well without getting soaked, as I 'd expect from OR. All in all, it's a good buy.

Got this jacket today, looks pretty good! Quality is great! I love those side pockets! I 'm going to use it as everyday mild winter down jacket. The only thing: I see it's mentioned that 6'1 is size M, but I would consider to choose L. M will fit, but imagine if you will want to put on a sweater under the jacket? It can be really tight.

At 10 degrees just what is needed to stay warm out doors with out bulk.

I bought this at the employee store. The shell feels like it has more texture and feels durable. Those things were obvious. The size is nice and roomy without being too bulky, It fits just right. I ca n't speak of cold winters just yet, but layering this with something under would be enough for me. The color is true to the picture. It has some good pocket verity.( small on the front, regular pockets on the side, and pockets on the inside. This is good jacket overall. Only way they could improve on this jacket is if they went with 700 fill.

[ I ’ ve been wearing this jacket for the first time during my Leave No Trace trainer course this weekend. Not only is it stylish, but it ’s warm and comfortable as well. It packs small and is lightweight for backpacking but still lofty enough to keep you warm during those cool mornings and evenings. It ’s also just perfect to keep you at a comfortable temperature during the day wether in a classroom setting or outside doing outdoors stuff. This jacket is the best available and will make you the best looking person in your own eyes, it ’s a win/win!

[ Amazing high- quality versatile jacket which I bought in the Fall, layered through winter and am continuing to enjoy into Spring. It is very light weight and not the least bit bulky, but regulates temperature very well. It takes up very little space for backpacking and travel. I like it so much I gifted one for a friend( who loves it too), and will buy another in a different color this Fall. A true Fjallraven classic.

[ I bought this jacket with the upcoming Winter in mind replacing my previous ten years ’ old puffer. I can tell it ’s going to be warm enough for the E coast winter but what really blows my mi d is just how light it is. Whereas I ’ ve always had jackets that encumbered my movements and I ’ d simply got used to that fact, this jacket feels so incredibly light and form fitting that it ’s going to be a new experience for my winters. I love the fact it feels like a light jacket instead of a ‘ winter coat ’ and can ’ t wait to be wearing it daily very soon.

Love this jacket! I lost my first one and missed it so much that I ordered a replacement in a new color. Lightweight, yet warm and wind breaking yet breathable, 10/10 recommend.
When selecting winter camping attire, focus on insulation, moisture-wicking properties, and weather resistance. Look for layers that can trap heat while allowing sweat to escape, ensuring comfort during physical activities. It's also important to choose clothing that allows for ease of movement, so you can stay active and enjoy your outdoor experience.
To choose the right size for winter camping clothing, start by taking accurate measurements of your body, including your chest, waist, hips, and inseam. Consult the sizing charts provided by the manufacturer, as sizes can vary between brands. Consider the type of layering you plan to use; you may want a slightly looser fit to accommodate base layers and insulation. Additionally, pay attention to the specific fit style of the clothing, such as regular or athletic, to ensure comfort and mobility during your outdoor activities.
