These are snug at the instep if you have “ taller ” feet; it took a few wears to start to feel comfortable, and takes a shoe horn every time to get them on. I ’ ve had these for about 3 months now and I must say they ’ re my favorite boots to wear for work or going out. They look great, feel perfect, and are so easy to get on or off. The only thing is I feel so nervous about ruining them because of how much I like the look of them. It ’s made of Nubuck leather so you have to be careful about water damaging the leather, they ’ re not water proof! Be prepared to have a kit to clean these boots every once in a while and keep the material from getting ruined.

I own/have owned four pairs of heritage Red Wings. Really, I love them all and am a big fan…they ’ re perhaps my favorite brand for sentimental reasons and quality for the cost. Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

First Pair still going strong( did have a the stich on one right slipper untie after several years, will have to get it retied/sewn). Basically these are well built slippers that will last several years. Soles after several years have held up well.
