This is the perfect jacket for any type of cold weather! I live in a mild winter climate but tend to visit places where it gets a little chilly and wanted a jacket that would work for all the things. I sized up to make sure I have extra room for layering. On its own, it is perfectly lightweight and but still keeps me warm. On colder days, I am able to layer a sweatshirt underneath and stay cozy. For reference, I am 5' 7 '' and typically wear a size Large; purchased an XL and it hits right below my bottom.

I was fortunate enough to be able to grab this when it was half price and I 'm so glad I did! The color is exactly as shown. The inside has a beautifully soft fleece layer. I also like that it has a loop near the tag inside for easier hanging. I often wear a size large in most women's clothing, but this was described as being a little bit of a loser fit and I would definitely agree with that. And I feel like it fits well while even having a little roof to spare, which is great for when I want to wear layers. I also like that it's a little bit longer in the back, so if you 're wearing leggings and would like to cover up a little bit more, this offers a little more coverage. Coverage. There are two good size pockets in the direct front on either side of the jacket and it has a zipper closure. I would definitely recommend this to others and would recommend going a size down from your normal size.

I love this coat so much more than I expected to! It ’s warm without being overly bulky and stiff. It looks equally cute dressed down or dressed up. Super versatile! If I were to change anything, I think it would be to have cuffs at the wrist instead of just a piece of elastic. Definitely not a deal breaker though. I got my normal size and it fits true. [ I could n't wait to wear this jacket once the weather got cooler in Texas. The weather can be bipolar very often, so if it's 35 degrees outside at the beginning of the day and hot later, I like the fact that I can carry a lightweight jacket around and stuff it in my backpack when I 'm not wearing it. Unlike some puff jackets, they can be very heavy and bulky. The jacket is ideal for 35+ degree weather or a little under if you layer well underneath. Also, keep in mind my 35- degree weather may feel warmer to others who live in areas that get lots of snow and wind. I have n't had the chance to wash it, but the material seems like it will hold up well in a normal wash cycle. I think I may have needed to go to a smaller size, I had plenty of space in the jacket zipped.

The side pockets are deep enough to hold my cell phone, but if I could make one addition to this jacket it would be to have a cell phone pocket up near the chest, either inside or outside as other Columbia coat styles have. I like quality things- do n't want to buy cheap gear so that I have a bad time on the mountain, but also not a pro or frequent snowboarder, so did n't want to splurge either. [ I love the fit of these jackets. I 'm 5' 3 '' and size M hits just above my hips. I also have one in a size L, and in that size there is much more room for layering. I would say if you 're looking for a more boxy and less bulky fit, the M is perfect.

Warm but also lightweight. Perfect! Love the inside pocket for my phone. I will say however, I am 5/8 and weigh 130 lbs. If you are big in the chest area, it will be snug. But I do n't have that problem so it's a perfect fit! Love this jacket!
