Solid boot. I work in natural gas and am outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. Snow in Idaho and rain over in Oregon and Washington They 've been great for driving, job site and walking around, and the waterproofing is top notch. I 've ridden the Harley a couple times with them in and the met guard is no good for that, protects your foot too much to have good connection with the shifter, but for work, these are great.

I already own these boots without the safety toe and love them. These are no different aside of the break- in period. The non- steel toe were like house slippers from day one. These have taken a few weeks of wear to soften up and I am still having an issue with my left boot, but the right is great. They are extremely comfortable and easy to stand on most of the day. They run perfect to size and the steel toe is not invasive like other brands I have tried. I work in an environment that has a number of silicone based chemicals on the floor and it is slippery, but not in these boots! I have not even come close since I started wearing them. For starters, the boots look amazing. Black matches everything and 6 inch is an amazing size. The insoles are firm until you step.( I don ’ t know how) basically, I ran to a friends house in these. And I noticed every step, I the boot rebounded me giving me a little boost. But when standing still, the boots have amazing support. I got them 1 day ago and used them is the snow and ice, then wore them to work today. The only reason I gave them a 4 out of five for durability is because I haven ’ t owned them long enough to know if they will hold. But based off of the feel and finish. It seems pretty solid. I noticed creasing from running in them which means like all boots, they are gon na crack eventually. As for the functionality of them. I was on my knees stocking some low shelves and notivced the boot doesn ’ t bend as much as it could. But you can substitute that by getting a soft toe version if you don ’ t need hard toed.

The first pair lasted for about a year and a half.( I work at a power plant that has a lot of construction going on) They are very comfortable to wear all day long. I work 10 hour shifts with no problems. I am flat- footed, so finding good work boots was important to me. These get the job done without my feet hurting. It took only a day or so to break them in. They are also waterproof, and unlike other boots, these really are waterproof. I have submerged almost my entire boots and not a single drop! A must have!

Its hard to leave an educated review without putting some miles on the boots. That being said, I have had my boots three weeks now. I 'm a union electrician and I had a big shutdown over labor day weekend. I wore the boots 19 hours without taking them off and I must say they are a very comfortable boot. My only complaint with these boots is that they took forever to break in. After two weeks I thought about returning them because the leather uppers were digging into my ankle so badly that I had bruises. I kept wearing them because of all of the good reviews. At about 3- 4 weeks of wear they just kind of conform to your foot. Now at 8 months they are the most comfortable shoe I own period. After a weekend of wearing tennis shoes my feet actually feel good slipping into these work boots. I can work an 8 hour shift on my feet and keep them on after work until I go to sleep and they are still comfortable. Not to mention that they are holding up great and if I cleaned them they 'd probably look new. I will be replacing these with a pair of the same boots when these finally wear out.

I 've had these boots for over a year, working 10- 12 hours a day 5- 7 days a week. I work in the elements. I have tromped through water, been on ladders for hours of the day with no arch pain, rested heavy objects on them, and put them through a good bit of everything. They still do not leak water, they are still comfortable, they have not torn at any seams and keep my feet happy. I would buy these again without hesitation and would highly recommend them to friends and coworkers. I had to replace the laces today but that is expected. They do not have to be broken in like some other boots.

Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

I accidentally ordered the 13Wide I usually go with the regulars but I 'm glad I have the space and not the oversized look a Wide can pose! They seem to be a size smaller than normal size. I have always wore a 9 1/2 in all my shoes and boots but they seem to fit like an 8 1/2. Other than the size difference, these seem to be some of the best built and great quality boots that I ’ ve purchased in a long time. Hopefully after I get the right size, they will last me a while.

While I did n't purchase my boots from here I did buy them from an authorized retailer online. These and other Carhartt boots I 've bought are the most comfortable boots I 've ever worn. I wear them over 10 hours a day and they treat my feet very well. I will say I do have to have the wide boot even though my feet do n't seem much wider than anyone else's.

These are amazing boots. I wear them 12- 14 hours a day. They look great. Real leather so they have to be broken in. Insoles are like tennis shoes and treads are great for not picking up mud and tracking it inside. When I get home from work I keep them on to walk the dog they are so comfortable. Well made. Favorite boots ever!!

My first Georgia boot 😀. I ’ m 9 1/2 wide and these fit well. The collar was uncomfortable at first. They have traction in mud, snow, slush, but, not so much on ice. The waterproof feature is great to keep feet warm and dry. I have a hard time with shoes fitting and not falling apart. Only had a month but so far I ’ m very happy. When I saw these boots on line shopping I couldn ’ t wait to order them. I used to wear another brand of boot that looked a lot like these, but they stopped making them. Not happy. I wore them the first day for 12hrs at work and not one problem and they become more comfortable as they ’ re worn. Thank you Carhartt for this style it ’s a great work boot and looks good with jeans for off the job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who likes the Wellington style. I ’ ll buy again!

great, boots so far. had them for two weeks. only thing bugging me is at the top of the boots it chapping my calf. i wear longs socks but they sink down. other than that fit& comfort are worth it. carbon toe is really cool feature.

I 've owned these boots for 10yrs and wear them up to 26 hrs. They have seen foundry atmosphere to 2ft of Wisconsin snow. Finally going to hang them up for the soles basically talk now and stitching is starting to fail on sides. Only complaint is inner web for insoles could be filled, last few yrs been using gel inserts that fill the holes. Thanks for a great boot
