I was having a tough day, it was windy and overcast so I put a 1/32 weight in its nose and placed the hook just in front of the fin facing to the tail thinking when a bass ate it I would set the hook in the roof of the mouth. They will melt on you if you leave them in your hot trunk or hot bag. BUT.... They do hold up well to multiple catches per bait. Wow they Work Great! Bought these lures for top water action so my son could enjoy top water fishing without having to much skill involved. He smoked me the first day he used them while I was using a rubber worm. He caught six and I got skunked. He definitely likes these lures and asked me to buy more in different colors for him, which I plan on buying for both of us. Definitely worth the money. Use a hook with a screw at then end and weight for best resulted. Like a VMC 4/0 hook.
