If you are looking for shorts to do activities in that will be good in wet or dry conditions, these should do the trick. They have an integrated liner like a swimming suit and are made of material that would dry quickly. The material is a little heavier than other all conditions shorts I have had, but that is probably good if you intend to go hiking. They should not easily snag or tear. Because I REALLY want some elastic/stretch in the waist. I love my Stina trousers, which are comfortable all day due to the small elastic sections they have put into the waistband. These shorts are comfortable for a while, but the lack of elastic in the waist means I start feeling the waist/button dig in after a few hours, or during different positions/activities. They just need to fix this, and I would be buying all the colours and getting rid of all my other shorts!. Should you buy some? I think it's worth getting a pair, for sure. Functionality, quality, and flattering fit are superb. I wo n't be buying a second pair in hopes that Fjallraven will make the EXACT same shorts with some elastic in the waist! Maybe the best trail shorts Nike has ever made. The waistband pocket system is excellent, with the rear zip pocket large enough to hold a phone or small flask and multiple other mesh pockets for gels and trail stuff. The outer layer is impossibly lightweight and the perfect length. No bouncing or flopping, just great storage and coverage. They do run a bit big- I have always been XS/S( 27- 28 ” waist) and had to do XXS in these to get a secure fit for the waist and brief liner. Glad I did the exchange though; amazing shorts!

These are quite seriously the best pair of shorts that I have ever owned. They come in sizes not often available in the US, have room in the hips to move around in, and have extremely durable but stretchy fabric; particularly in the middle so movement is never limited. I recently purchased a pair of ferrosi shorts, 7 '' length. I 'm 5' 4 and I think the length is great. They are come to a couple of inches above my knee( long enough that there is no inner thigh chaffing) and the shorts are n't too tight in the leg opening( I 'm more curvy vs slim in the thigh). My last favorites were Columbia( from 4- 5 years ago), which I had to `` retire '' this year... they 've seen a lot of wear, and have held up great! [ So far, really impressed with Nike ACG! Their line has some very well- designed and functional pieces for all kinds of outdoorsy activities. I ordered these for my brother. Some initial impressions:- They really weren ’ t kidding about the pockets! So many of them( hidden, zipped, small, large, front, back, you name it!). I ’ m not share how secure some pockets are, but in general, very convenient.- The material is very lightweight but sturdy. There ’s a mesh inner layer underneath as well, which looks very breathable and comfy.- The shorts are super adjustable! I accidentally got a large for my brother, but we were able to make it work because of the elastic waist and drawstrings.- The shirts have some loops meant for hiking poles( so cool?!). I bet you could also add a carabiner or something.- I really liked the neutral color scheme. The top of the shorts is gray and has an interesting plaid print.- They are a little pricier than what I ’ m used to, but given the unique features, I think this might be worth it for an avid hiker or if they ’ re on sale. It ’s too chilly to wear these out now, but I ’ m sure they ’ ll be perfect for indoor use or for hikes in warmer weather!

[ I really like the feel of the shorts. When wearing these shorts to play basketball, I loved how they are very lightweight. The fabric provided me with a breathable and moisture- wicking feel that was very comfortable. The shorts were a bit snug when I first put them on but when playing basketball, they were very flexible. The waistband was flexible on my body and didn ’ t dig in my thighs while running. The style of the shorts provided me with ample amounts of space to place my keys and my phone. I also like the inner- lined of the shorts that provide me with support. The amount of space to store things was one of my favorite parts of these shorts, including the loops to latch things onto them. One thing I would change about these shorts would be the fitting of the shorts once I first put them on. The shorts are comfortable but for someone with thicker thighs, the internal lining could cut into the thigh. I would get a size bigger just for my thighs.

Nice little cargo pocket that does n't stick out too much. Probably the BEST feature is that these are from before Fjallraven decided to put a stretch waistband on every_single pants and shorts in their lineup, ruining the aesthetics. These have a classic look appropriate for adults.

These have easily become my go- to shorts on a daily basis. They are durable, stylish and comfortable. The bottom left pocket is perfect for my Ridge wallet. I love not having back pockets, which is more comfortable on a bike or driving a car. Other styles of Fjallraven shorts do n't fit my thighs and waist quite the same, but these are spot on.

Just received my new Ferrosi shorts and am very impressed. Very lightweight( perfect for our hot/humid summers), breathable and the perfect amount of stretch. The secure zip pockets are perfect when out scrambling, wo n't loose any belongings. Stitching is strong and really like the 1 sided front mesh pockets to vent out heat and moisture.
