I do not run, but am an avid hiker. Several people encouraged me to switch to a trail runner to alleviate some of the pain and blisters I was experiencing with my boots. My life is changed! Ever see the character, Tigger, from the Winnie the Pooh stories? He literally bounces with every step! That ’s how you will feel with these shoes. I bought the shoes because we own 2 large Golden Doodles who need to go outside or be walked several times a day. Sometimes we run. These shoes have gone thru mud, snow, puddles, and more, and never missed a beat. My feet stayed dry and I just rinsed the shoes upon returning inside and good as new. I normally wear a 7. 5, but sized up to an 8 and the fit is perfect. I really like the extra room in the toebox, so I can wiggle my toes. However, the shoes do tend to run a bit narrow, so just a heads up if you have a wide foot. The shoes easily accomodated my orthotic once I pulled out the insole provided.( Hey, Nike, these shoes should have a unglued, easily removable, insole!) Overall, I am thrilled with my purchase.

I ’ m a few weeks in but so far a great pair of shoes. Runs with a firmer midsole compared to squishy alternatives, which I like. Also, I ’ ve found the larger size( US14) well proportioned and not too wide or loose in the forefoot. Good traction too!

This is my second pair of Calderas. I really do n't run in them much, mostly hike, and I love them. Like other Brooks shoes I have, they have plenty of room in the toe box, which I need. Plenty of cushion but still feel stable. I am a little bummed about one design change from the first pair I had- they no longer have attachment points for gaiters. Otherwise they work great for me. Would love a waterproof version for winter!

First, I love the bright colors. More importantly, I put these on and they were immediately comfortable. They have great cushion and feel very stable with the grip. I previously had 2 different pairs of the Ghost shoe, but I have to say I like these Calderas much better- way more comfortable, in my opinion.

I purchased these online for an upcoming trip to Japan and was shocked to discover that they are Mount Fuji themed! That might have been enough to sway me, but they were also extremely comfortable, very stable for my ankle issues, and they sat a little lower on the ankle than some other styles, which helped because I have a painful spot that needs surgery. The colors are fun as well, but most of all I expect them to be very comfortable for walking around all over Japan! The style I ordered is the white one that has speckles along the outsole. I am normally a women ’s size 9 and purchased the 9 1/2, and it fits perfectly.

Loved certain colorways. I 'm male and usually wear size 10. 5. So I bought myself size women 12. But these do run small unfortunately. So had to return. Otherwise, would 've gotten women 12. 5. But it does n't exist. Liked the sole. Pretty cushioned. The shoes are pretty light, too.

Wheelchair user with limited dexterity. These shoes are very easy to put on and take off with the tongue and heel loops. The heel tab and counter act as a shoe horn to guide the heel into the shoe. The lugs are gripping enough so there is no slipping from my footplate.
