The shorts might run a little small. I tend to wear the L pants but got the XL shorts and they work well for me. I like the internal liner, but still wear by boxer briefs with them. I really need to try them without the boxes and see how they work. I bought a pair of these when they first came out a couple of years ago and always saved them for my `` dress '' shorts. I always looked forward to wearing them as they are the most comfortable shorts I have ever owned. I finally decided to replace my lined Breeze shorts with the active breeze shorts because they are just so much more comfortable than the Breeze short. The extra comfort comes from the difference in the waste band. The old Breeze short had a typical stretch liner but the new active breeze short has more of smooth band where you do n't feel the waist band against the skin, you dont actually know you are wearing them.

Shorts are very comfortable. I wear them when I run, and thus far they have held up nicely for several 4- 6 mile runs. As the weather warms I will definitely try them on longer outings. They do not ride up and the interior lining has not created hot spots. The pocket size if extremely convenient for carrying needed items on the run. They compare extremely well with the name brand shorts I have come to rely on for running, and I will definitely look for more of these VRST 7 '' shorts. I bought these last week and have worn them several times for workouts/leisure and I ’ m impressed with how nice the quality is of these shorts. They have a nice feel to them and aren ’ t super thin. The athletic fit is comfortable and gives you enough room to move and the 5 ” length is perfect. The price point is definitely fitting for the quality at$ 35 MSRP.
