[ If there was ever a must add to a core workout wardrobe, it would be this top. It was so soft and comfortable, and best of all, sweat wicking and quickly dried after a long running workout. What I also loved about the top, as someone with three little ones, I wake up at 4: 30 am to get that workout in... and I have been known to sometimes sleep in my workout gear- so no excuses in the am! This top was so drapy and soft, it easily would work to sleep in. Its also so chić in its simplicity, with a small scoop seam at the back of the neck with central back seam and two scoops on the side underarms, it totally would transition you to brunch after a workout. Currently I have 3 Elevate Hoodies and love them all! The New Edition has 2 slight differences from it's predecessor. This one the shoulder has the typical straight line sleeve divider compared to the smooth rollover sleeve. Both designs are appealing and obviously have a slightly different appearance. Probably a good thing since I wear them all the time! The other difference is the thumbhole on the sleeve. The previous edition has a loop for the middle finger and covers the top of the hand slightly better for fishing, but for everyday wear the thumbhole is ideal. I work from home and basically wear the Elevate Hoodie all day with my Breeze Pants. Comfortable, lightweight, and simply a& quot; cool look& quot; are all important to me and this nails it across the board!

[ Recently returned from an extremely hot and humid vacation in Key West. Temps in the 90's. Dewpoint 75 or higher every day. Heat index of 110. I brought 2 of these Echo T- Shirts with me and lived in them. Very light and breathable and the only tops I had that did not stick to my hot and sweaty body. They wicked well and offer SPF protection. How this is accomplished in such lightweight material is a mystery to me. And no... they are not see- through like so many other lightweight options. I 'm a big fan of the modest v- neck these shirts have. I do wish they were and in or two shorter, but that's my personal preference. I highly recommend the Echo T- Shirt and the Echo Sun Hoody. Fantastic all around.

Sleeves are good length but would n't have minded another inch. Thumb holes would have been nice. I have to maneuver a little to get it over my chest( 46 inch) but it's not a problem, just noticeable. The material has a nice stretch to it. Might have a shirt on underneath or nothing under depending on temperature and wind. Love the hood fit with or without a hat. Zipped up the hood stays on well. Zippers work well. I 've washed it several times now and the material and color still look new. Washing on delicate and hang dry. I like it so much I might get another.

I live in wool tank tops year- round. It is extremely rare that I am not wearing one, even if it is as a first layer during colder months. In this style( no matter what brand), you almost always need to SIZE DOWN one size; and some people may even go down two sizes. Ordinarily, I do not even like the `` muscle '' tee/tank style, but this one has a perfect feminine cut, while still embodying the strong, confident vibe many of us appreciate. For reference, I wear a medium in the Siren tank, and a small in the 125 Cool- Lite Sphere III tank. In most Icebreaker pieces, whether top or bottom, I generally prefer size medium, but every now and then I like a large( for instance, in some full- length leggings). I already have stacks of the Siren tanks, and now I have a growing stack of these as well; both are year- round daily staples I will not live without. While it is true that not every one of these tanks is consistently assembled and/or symmetrically proportioned, for most brands, I am long accustomed to ordering multiple units and returning those that do not fit perfectly. Yes, it is a hassle, but I am used to it, and this tank is SO worth it. Icebreaker, if you are reading this, please do NOT change a thing about the size small in this style( except for general quality control and manufacturing consistency). I have a long torso, long arms, and the dimensions are absolutely perfect for me. This tank is SO soft, tremendously comfortable, and incomparably feather- light. It feels like wearing nothing. As with many Icebreaker pieces, this garment dramatically decreases stress on a daily basis, and instantly became an indispensable element of my minimalist wardrobe. Thank you!

I purchased this hoodie for sun protection on a recent 9- day backpacking trip. I bought the light grey colour because I thought it could double as bug protection, since the mosquitoes were horrendous. I really liked how feather- light it was, it dried fast and the hood was great when the bugs were fierce. Furthermore, all the bug/blood/sweat stains cleaned up nicely after the trip and it looks good as new! As for durability and wind- proofness, I will bring it on my next two canoe trips this July and report back:)

Quite happy with this version of the Astroman! Still the same great sun protection and durability but the material seems lighter/faster drying somehow. Not sure how they managed that without sacrificing durability but so far it's held up beautifully! I 'm a sweaty hiker and it's pretty amazing how little sweat this shows and how fast it dries. This lil hoody is also extremely packable- have taken it on quite a few birding/hiking trips and long days bike- packing. I plan to take it to AZ this weekend for a friend's bday trip to really put it to the test( I 've been using it in Idaho thus far). Also- LOVE this pink color. I would buy anything and everything in this pink, so dang cute! I bought a Small and Medium and I 'm keeping the Medium- I 'm 5' 4 '' and about 140- 150lbs( 30 '' waist and 40 '' low hip, aka most of my weight is in my booty/thighs). The small fit fine, but I prefer a looser fit for layering and breathability:) And because this is a sun shirt, looser fit is best for the fabric to keep out sun rays, anyways. The ONLY thing I would change about this: please move the pocket to the chest or somewhere more useful. It's on the right hip and goes backwards which is strange and not natural at all, I really dislike it. I 'd prefer it be on the chest( like the men's version) or even still on the hip but a zippered drop pocket( like the Freewheel Hoodie).

[ I recently bought a bunch of sunblock hoodies and have been wearing this a lot more than the others so far this summer, I love it! I 've been hit with skin cancer on my face twice now so trying to find ways to cover up when I 'm outside that do n't require me to bath in sunblock lotion. For context: I live in Arkansas and it's been super hot& humid. We 're currently in the upper 90's/lower 100's with pretty high humidity- dew points in the 70- 75 range most days. For that kind of weather this is the by far the most comfortable of the 3 other sun blocking hoodies I 've tried. This material is very breathable and lightweight like a tech shirt, but it fits loose and does n't show off the finer details of every fat roll I have like a tech shirt. It looks good just wearing it around. The `` activeice '' part is n't entirely obvious like wearing an air conditioner, but I noticed the other day that my exposed legs felt hotter in the sun and took longer to cool off once I got out than my arms/torso so it does seem to actually do something. If you live in a hot climate that is also humid, there is n't a better option I 've found, so just buy this. Most of the others I 've tried use some cotton- like materials that soak up humidity or they are thicker& less breathable and start to get a bit too warm when the temp hits 90's and the humidity is high. My only complaint is the collar/base of the hood. The closest pic of the hood up on OR's website you 'll find is a guy reaching back to start to pull it up, so I 'm assuming they already know the hood looks a bit funny, but sharing on the off chance they read this for next years version. I wish the hood had two sections that crossed under the chin or something similar instead of the solid strip. I do appreciate the neck coverage and it looks good when the hood is down, but when the hood is up you look like you 're in one of those face- in- hole photo boards or about to go bee- keeping. Most of my friends are master- level wisecrackers so it will have to be really sunny day before I wear this around them with the hood up. Pro- Tip: It looks better( to me at least) when wearing a hat and pulling the hood over the brim, and gives better sun protection on the sides of your face that way as well. My second minor improvement would be that it could be maybe just one inch longer, I 'm 6'00 '' and 200 lbs. The length is great for the most part but if I 'm reaching straight up it shows a bit of belly. Overall though, this is easily the winner of the bunch I 've tried for the dead heat of summer.

[ On a whim, I picked up a Canyon SS prior to hiking into Havasu Falls on the Havasupai reservation. We hiked into the falls in early July, with daily average temperatures in the low triple digits. I found this shirt to be extremely comfortable, fast- drying, and quick to vent off excess heat. With a large pack on my back for the 12- mile hike, even with the Arizona sun bearing down on us, I never felt uncomfortably warm or overly soaked in sweat. The shirt managed to wick away and evaporate off the moisture at a steady, appreciated rate. Upon reaching the falls, I gave the shirt a quick rinse off in the creek and after half an hour of hang drying, the shirt was ready to be put through its paces once more. Seriously, as far as the intended function of this shirt is concerned, it performed beautifully. Plus, I find both the fit and appearance of the shirt to be really nice. I 've since placed an order for additional shirts. I really dig 'em. For the reviewer who found the shirt to hang onto odors, I did n't have that issue at all, and I used just the one Canyon shirt for the three days we spent at Havasu. And, I was with people who would have quickly pointed out that I stank. No problems with odor control.

[ This shirt is amazing, I could wear it for days without noticing that it's even there. The lightweight fabric has stood up to hiking with a full pack, bouldering and scrambling as well as climbing a tree or two. The vents help to keep me cool on trails as hot as 90 degrees and also help me look cool in town. I have n't used the pockets with a pack on but love them in town. They 're big enough to hold my wallet and phone comfortably.
